It's not that nobody cares it's that they are overshadowed. I mean you have Westbrook throwing triple doubles around, Davis scores 50, Derozan leading the league in PPG, Curry dropping 13 3's, Harden scoring 30 & dishing 15, Embiid showing skills and of course LBJ doing work.

Having said that Hood has been great for the Jazz. Kemba should be an All-Star this season too. Right now he's playing like the best PG in the league.

I think these guys are getting notice. I think people know Hood's a player from the end of last season. Miles is doing what he always has but has just started off the season hot, he's always been a streaky shooter who can light it up.

Kemba has been a guy that's probably always gone under the radar a bit, and he's stepped it up yet again this season. He really isn't a lot worse than a guy like Thomas.

Tim Frazier, as mentioned above is another great name.

Warren's been beasting but I think (?) people have noticed.

Why some guys never got a hype while some others always get on hype train in any case?

Edit: I saw some mention about TJ Warren but yeah sure there should be more appreciation for him too;
TJ Warren 21.7ppg/46.0%, 40.0% 3pts, 6.1 rpg, 2.1 stl, 0.9 to

Not sure where people are getting Kembas 3 pt % from. HE'S SHOOTING 48.7% from 3 right now.

Kemba has continued the progression that he showed last year. Crazy

2nd Place Eastern Conference - Charlotte Hornets

Post#130 » by Chapelchilla » Tue Nov 8, 2016 8:37 pm

The Hornets are 5 and 1 despite their usual collection of nagging injuries. Their core 6 is signed up for the next 3 years. Real Teamwork, tough Defense, decent spacing and very good chemistry are making up for the lack of a "superstar" on the roster.
I have them down as the 3rd or 4th seed. 1. Cav's, 2. Boston, Charlotte or Toronto.........then probably ATL, Chi, IND and Det.
Flame away or jump on the bandwagon but the Hornets seem to be for real and are looking likely to win a series or two this year if they don't have a major injury issue with Kemba or MKG. What's your take?

Not fools gold, they were in a 4 way tie for the 3 through 6 seed last year despite basically losing MKG for the season. Charlotte doesn't get the credit they are due because it is a "small" market but they have a good coach and a solid core of guys who play hard every night unlike most NBA teams.

Great start but dont get carried away they have had a somewhat easy schedule with boston(injuries), although the pacers win was impressive

They're not fool's gold. Clifford is an AMAZING coach, and with Kemba, MKG, and Batum that's a really dangerous team.

they were good last year too though, MKG has made this team legit. Also nobody is talking about Kemba tearing up the league, remember when he was the old whipping boy for realgm stat geeks?

Yeah, the schedule was helpful but they do have 3 road wins already and that isnt a total fluke. They wont keep win 80% of their games but 60% is possible and they are already 4 games over .500.
They could win 50 if the injury bug doesn't bite too hard.

They probably wont beat CLE on the road. The other two are doable if we get some guys back. Right now Hibbert, Frank, MKG and Lamb look iffy. That is a lot of guys out early in the year.
