PFF rookie update again. Rashard Robinson is their 5th best rookie (1. Wentz, 2. Prescott, 3. Conklin, 4. Elliott, 6. Joey Bosa, 7. Cody Whitehair, 8. Hunter Henry, 9. Keanu Neal, 10. Michael Thomas). Cowboys and Chargers the two teams with multiple players in the top 10.

The Mike Davis we saw in the pre-season better return because regular season Mike Davis has been a joke...

Another guy that looked great in the pre-season was Blair. Whey he isn't getting heavy snaps is unexplainable to me. Tank isn't getting snaps which is understandable because he does't set the edge in the run game. Harold and Lynch have been lousy to be kind.

Lots of guys look good in preseason especially against 2nd and 3rd string talent and then disappear in the regular season. Purcell looked like a monster last year in preseason. Tank looked good as a pass rusher in preseason and has been almost invisible in the regular season. They should play Blair and anyone else cause the team has nothing to lose at this point. Armstead should have surgery now and just get ready for next season now. That might give Blair more time.

That's impressive.

49ers are also the first team in history to allow a 100 yard rusher in 7 consecutive games.

Most awesome part of that is the list of players:

Not exactly a murder's row of elite RB's.

Arik Armstead - DL - 49ers

49ers placed LE Arik Armstead on injured reserve with a shoulder injury, ending his season.

They claimed DT Chris Jones off waivers from the Dolphins in a corresponding roster move. The No. 17 overall pick of last year's draft, Armstead was having a middling year after showing promise on limited snaps as a rookie. He'd been dealing with shoulder issues since the summer. Armstead will head into 2017 with 4.5 career sacks through 24 games. The 49ers are dangerously thin at every level of the defense.

Please stop drafting these ACL guys. Baalke said this guy was gonna be ready by training camp. This is an effing joke. To think we could have taken Prescott instead.
