I forget who mentioned it last game.but i think the bigs sagging back on PnR's really hurting us was spot on again today. I mean they got worked by Jordan Clarkson and Nick Young with it..what did they expect when they had to deal with CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard?

Brandon Knight. I wish we can just waive him.

Curious, what did you think of Bender tonight?

Loved him! He looks so ready, the total opposite of preseason and summer league. Watson needs to play him. The play where he put the ball down and went to the rack really surprised me. Suns looked so much better when he was out there. I loved him on defense and loved him on offense.. can't point out one negative thing except the fact Len/Tucker play over him.

Haven't read thru this thread but from what I seen in the 1st quarter McCollum was just on fire. I don't even think Booker had bad defense, McCollum was just shooting lights out.
One thing, was it obvious that ref 71 was calling almost everything against us? He made so many bad calls, calls that changed the momentum of the game. He made silly calls early in the 4th quarter to get the Blazers in the penalty. I said before the game even started to my brother that I hated that ref and he makes bias calls against us.
Not saying he was the reason we lost, but he certainly didn't make the game easier for us.

Also what happened in the 3rd quarter? Did commentators say anything? Our starters just played bad that Watson went with a whole new lineup?

At least Suns weren't the biggest losers of the night.

I hope someone makes a video of Bender, but not just his offensive highlights but some of his defensive impact...switching onto a guy forcing him to run out of bounds...boxing out Plumlee to allow someone else to get the rebound....really impressive court awareness.

Or just a video of all the minutes he was on the court on both sides.

Some of these stats are getting silly. Two games in double figures? Lol

Yeah, it is ridiculous the amount of points that we are giving with that defense. I do not know if that is strategical or just bad defense by Len and Chandler. They are really slow.

With Bender or Chriss we defend better when they are playing at C and we do not make that type of defense...it is strange.
