29ppg(58% FG) on 68% TS for the season.
It's not even like he's hot or anything, effortless.

Yeah, he makes it look pretty effortless. He got really hot in one game only I'd say. The OKC game. He exploded in the 2nd quarter in that game.

I could be wrong but KD usually doesn't play this well to start the season...so we could KD do better in the upcoming months.

Correct.
Agreed, would not be surprised if he played better as the season went on.

Damn so another 20pt game gives him the record for most consecutive in the modern era?
Didnt have overtake Mj for most consecutive 25+ pt games in the modern era in his Mvp season?

Unlike most other guys with hot starts right now, Kds line so far seems very much like rooted in reality and sustainable as an avg for 82 games.
And yeah he usually starts off slow i think in january historically he really ups his level.
If that happens again this could be a very comfortable 30PER season for him.

Correct on both.
Robertson is definitely in reach, but there is no way this goes on for 20+ more games and ties Wilt.

Quietly, the duo Durant/Curry has been quite impressive scoring wise with no signs of an adjustment period.
Per 36:
Durant - 29.3 Points on 69.1% TS
Curry - 28.9 Points on 65.4% TS
Both still 3-5% below their expected FT% (Curry currently at 86.1% (90.8% and 91.4% the two years before); Durant currently at 84.5% as a career 88.2% player).
Noteworthy though explicable: on/off numbers (with the small sample, and without adjustments for teammates) suggest that both players currently dominate different sides of the game. KD's on/off DRTG is at -10.1 (104.5 on, 114.6 off), second to Igoudala on the team with at least 100 minutes on and off the court (ORTG on/off is at -6.4). Curry's on/off ORTG is at +11.1 (116.9 on, 105.8 off), highest on the team with the same restrictions (if we consider every player, West is ahead of both Curry and Durant with 77 on-court minutes). DRTG on/off is at -2.2.

Re: The Kevin Durant Thread (2016 - 17 Pt. 1)
He was such a monster on defense tonight. That chase down dunk block was easily the best block this season. Loved it. This game vs the Suns was his best defensive game this season for sure. Massive effort from him on that end it was great to see. His passing and off-ball movement on offense was awesome too. His shooting was a bit off (for his standards only) but he had such a great all-around game tonight. He gave so much effort on both ends (especially on D).

I wanna see KD attack more like he did late in tonights game...don't wanna see him fall into the trap of taking too many 3's.
I would like to see GSW look for him more in transition because he's incredibly difficult to stop on the run.

Spot on. GSW certainly can use him much better on offense.

Sometimes I think he is too unselfish. Hope he can fix that with Kerr in the future. The 2nd unit needs his scoring.

Would be really, really surprised if he shot less than 55% and his TS% was less than 64%. Sounds ridiculous, but there you go.
29-30 PER, +7--+8 BPM, .275+ WS/48.

Too boston credit no crowder no horford didnt help matters . Plus Klay was on fire himself. The Cs need rebounding and scoring , Getting cousins would be game changer for them. If they can get him try for favors and gay?
