The YMCA connection between Hawes, Frank and Belinelli is really starting to click. If Ramon can figure out whatever the hell he was doing right to not suck at shooting threes when he was a Wizard we'll have a sneaky good bench sometimes.

I'm on board with Mystical Apples's idea of keeping Sessions on the bench when Lamb comes back and letting Marco handle point duties next to Lamb and MKG / Batum / whoever we use as the SF in that lineup.

It's worth a shot. I don't know if lacking a breakdown element will work against every team but the team defense ought to be good enough as long as everybody helps helpers and such.

Will be interesting to see what we do with Hawes when Hibbert is ready to come back. Playing three Cs seems like too much, but Hawes has had a really nice effect on the second unit.

What's crazy about 6-1 is that Batum has been shooting terribly - 36.4% FG, 27.5% 3PT. We'd be blowing teams out if he was posting just career averages.

Batums shot selection has been questionable so far this year. Seems the degree of difficulty on his shots so far has been tougher than I remember last year. Almost all his shots seems to be jumpers where he is either floating side to side, towards the rim or starting the shot while facing away from the basket (his usual catch and shoot off curl where he starts shot facing away then turns mid air to face rim before shooting). There just aren't that many players who can consistently make those shots at a high %. I might spend some time today checking out the types of shots he is taking this year compared to last.

All that being said, he's also missing a lot of easy looks as well.

I hope we continue to play hawes. I have always been a fan of his game. I think he adds a different dimension to the center spot that hibbs doesn't. He can stretch the floor and is an all around slightly better ball player but hibbert gives us a body down low on defense and offense. Incorporating both of them will put more pressure on opposing defenses
