Johnson could have been in there over Harris since Tobias was pretty awful this game, I'll give you that. Not sure if it would have made a huge difference though. Smith and Udrih being awful offensively and the former getting demolished by Bledsoe late on the defensive end were the main problems.

figured he could have defended a bit better than Tobias as well...oh well though not much we can do about it now..just hope these losses to BRK and PHX don't come back to haunt us later in the season is all..

Not sure what happened there in the 4th, thought we had the momentum up 89-83, and then all of sudden we couldn't run a decent set for the last 8 mins of the game.

Tobias Harris has been bad the last 3 games...not sure whats up with him but we're not winning when he shoots 30%.

So sj finally starts finding his groove last couple of games and he gets rewarded by being benched. This exactly what I be talking about when I say were not developing him right. From a mental standpoint, he struggled for 5 games and still got some minutes. Then he has 2 good games in double figures. and then tonight after resting a day in between last game, we play him 6 min because....idk. regardless, if tobias has a normal game we win by 7 or 8 points. Losing sucks

If were not winning by double digits in the 4th were going to have trouble closing out games without Reggie.

Svg is not doing well his job managing rotations.

Stan needs to get more creative and utilize his depth/versatility more when the PGs are playing like this. Bench their azzes and let Marcus or Harris run p&r with Dre instead. Put Bullock in to spread the court and have KCP guard Bledsoe.

I don't care if they aren't PGs. They couldn't have done worse than Ish/Beno the last 2.

Also time to see what Boban can do. Baynes isn't doing enough. We spent all this money on the bench and we're still 25th in bench scoring (only 2 ppg up from last year). Need to start getting something from Boban if he can help.

4-7 here we go... and maybe even 5-9 or 5-10 if Reggie don't come back quickly. Far away from the 50% we wanted.

I normally don't do it, but I'm putting this L on SVG. His rotations killed us. There were a couple stretches where Baynes wasn't doing anything, he didn't attempt a shot and went stretches without a rebound, which set up Phoenix with more possessions. If you want to rest Andre, get Boban in there. For 3-5 mins. SVG said Stanley would play determined on how well he plays. He played well and sat on the bench for all but 6 minutes. 6 minutes!! This is your 8th pick from last year. He's young, has fresh legs, plays okay defense and has found his shot and you don't play him. Instead you watch Tobias Harris and Marcus Morris go 8-25 in 72 mins. Jon Leuer played well, 11 pts and 9 rebs in 24 minutes.... why pull him? His defense was okay. He gets his shots in the flow of the offense. Please SVG, tell Ish to PASS THE BALL!! We had a fastbreak at the end of the 2nd qtr where Ish was moving the ball up on a tall defender, had two Pistons trailing right behind and no other Suns in sight, and he tried to shoot over the bigger defender which got blocked out of bounds. He had two options on that play and neither should have been him. He stayed in the game. That is on our coach. let's hope we can take one of these road games and get Reggie back quickly.

did anyone see the mannequin challenge thing they did in the phoenix arena during a timeout? it was one of the cooler things i've seen organized at a sporting event.

It was wild. I thought I was at the Hillary victory party.

It just seemed to me that KCP and Morris just took turns playing hero ball.

I have never seen Drummond this bad before. Uninterested, lazy, slow and apathetic. Once SJ didn't pass him the ball for an easy alley op he just throttled down and started playing at half speed. He walked up the court half the time.

The local media made a big deal about SVGs political rant. I support SVGs 1st amendment right but its going to be an unwelcome distraction for the rest of this trip.

I think its time for me to stop watching until Reggie comes back. No way would he lose last nights game with it being tied at 90 with 5 minutes to go.
