Individuals do not represent the masses. Especially ignorant individuals, who tend to dominate talking points over rational discussion. Promoting it like its the sole reason Trump got elected is disingenuous and does absolutely nothing to further your point.

Trump supporters en masse think and/or behave this way.

Some are just die-hard GOP that will vote red no matter what. But mainly, outside of the outspoken racists, the base is people who bought into Trump's 'elevate the middle class' stuff. He was like Bernie in that he knows his base and knows what they want. But unlike Bernie, Trump does not have a clear logical path to enact it. If Bernie ran and won, and the Senate/House went blue, he could conceivably enact some of his platform, if not most of it.

But Trump? He's going to get hit by his own side if he tries to enact what he's promised, and even by some centrist dems. These guys are so deep in the pockets of lobbies that they are completely isolated from real Americans. Even if he can get taxes and tariffs raised on non-domestic goods and services, it doesn't really help out the American people if wages remain low and we're still subsidizing corporate welfare (while bashing welfare for the people, a far less costly endeavor). I don't see any path to him getting results and I think he'll (and by he, I kinda mean the GOP-led Congress more) walk back economic growth, and in doing so, increase already unstable tensions among classes and races.

We'll see. If Trump can actually get the GOP to move towards the center for the first time in decades, then he could be a moderate success. It just seems very unlikely with the human turtle that is Mitch McConnell running the show in Congress.

I found it funny that on Trump's 100 day plan he wants to propose a term limit in Congress (which I agree with) to Mitch McConnell, who has been on office since Jimmy Carter, lol

Would be nice. I doubt that the Congress would let their cushy elitist jobs go without a significant fight, but if Trump could actually make that happen.. outside of it being a miracle, it would be one of the biggest steps forward in fighting government corruption in quite a long time.

Maybe you have not seen..... but if ypou think Trump is about LESS Corruption...... ...REALLY? The guys is a hustler with no integrity. Him even gettin the Nomination.. was a disturbing SHOCK. What's next? ANYTHING.

PA senator Pat Toomey had adds that he supported Trump when in fact he was one of the last ones to back Trump as a Republican et people sprayed his neighbors house saying "Toomey is a racist cuz he supports Trump!"

That just what Liberal media is telling you and people are running with it. Im sure it has something to do with it with the racist ones but 30% of the Hispanic and Asian vote went to Trump with 8% of hem being back. It really wasn't a racial election. It was a socio-economic election

Retaliation against white supremacy blowback - that's your argument? Hysterical.

This wasn't a racial election? The fact that Trump wants to ban Muslim immigration and then label Muslims living here? Deport Hispanic immigrants? Build a wall around Mexico? Continue to disenfranchise black neighborhoods and communities?

Yeah, nothing racial at. Socioeconomic platform tells us to elect the morally corrupt, belligerent, mouth-breathing bigot who happens to be a billionaire white man who doesn't pay taxes and is so far removed from the people on the ground...keep telling yourself that.

Anyone that voted for Trump is either a racist or a closet racist.

there is no white supremacy blowback. that is something the Liberal media made as propaganda cuz their candidate lost. Throwing up Black Lives don't Matter is the same as bombing a building of a political party.

I need a refresher, seriously, when did Trump label Muslims living here.

He actually said he would deport illegal Hispanics. The whole part of every Hispanic was Liberal media avalanche. I have an Uncle in Riverside and he voted for Trump and his wife is Mexican.

Disenfranchise the black community??? What has Obama did for the black community? YOu know who said that? Luis Farakhan. You want to give that Obama has saved the economy? Don't say that to a black person in South Carolina. They say Obama has done nothing for us. And Clinton was supposed to be an extension.

Your continuing of Liberal propaganda is beginning to hurt my head, clyde - I say that with love though. The problem is that either you think that the entire USA is supposed to be like California (Im assuming that is were you are living) and that a country that is supposed to be a melding pot of different cultures means nothing unless they fall in line with the Liberal thinking.

Yeah, nothing racial at. Socioeconomic platform tells us to elect the morally corrupt, belligerent, mouth-breathing bigot who happens to be a billionaire white man who doesn't pay taxes and is so far removed from the people on the ground...keep telling yourself that.

When people don't have hope to put food on the table people will vote for the person that will help them. Rural America was an after thought to the Obama regime and its continuation of Hillary. Bernie pretty much said the same thing but he said it nicer. Its socio economics as its purest definition

Anyone that voted for Trump is either a racist or a closet racist.

There you go again, clyde. Everyone is a racist. Every Hispanic , Asian, and African American that voted for Trump are also racist by that logic

If you're voting for a hateful and bigoted platform because of "money" (whatever that means), then in turn you're a hateful bigot. There's no if or buts about it, sorry. Logic does not compute.

I feel for the American people that you lost out on a really good candidate in Bernie Sanders.

Trump and Clinton were terrible choices, one as corrupt as they come, and the other just offended everyone.

As a Muslim myself, it's **** because I don't know when I'll get to see the Warriors play at the Oracle if the Muslim ban is applied. I was booking up to come over next year but if that goes ahead I won't even get in

That's surprinsgly blunt. I would expect the vast majority of coaches to refrain from discussing politics.

Kerr's understandably very political given his background and upbringing. He's also been a big proponent for gun control on social media.

The only other coach who has been as vocal about this election is SVG.

Kerr had to say it..You want to be with your players on such a sensitive/dramatic topic..Imagine if a NBA head coach came out and talked like a Trump supporter..Even a hint of Trump support and he'd lose his whole team in a split second.

Luckily Kerr's always the smartest guy in the lockerroom..He knows his disgust with the Donald will be well received by his players.

I'll bet you 10 bucks the reason Pop is so quite is he voted for Trump.

Kerr didn't have to say it. Most NBA coaches - like Pop - declined to comment when asked. To think that Kerr said it just to be with his players isn't giving Kerr enough credit as a human. Maybe, you know, his personal beliefs are also in line with his players beliefs and this is something he felt strongly enough to talk openly about?

Pop declined comment because he's as smart as they come..He's not going to let any of his players know he voted Trump.

Pop is a military guy (Air Force Academy), so I can see why he would choose not to comment in that case. You're probably right. Most likely supported Trump.

I wonder what % of NBA players secretly voted Trump? I'll bet you the answer is really high..90 to 95% of voters put their pocketbooks ahead of anything else.

Heck I was shocked and depressed as Trump was winning state after state, then I remembered how great it was for my biotechnology stocks..Kinda took away the sting lol

Kerr has strong feelings towards this because of his wife and daughter, and how they felt when Trump talked about women in general. In the actual interview, he talks about how much they were effected and in turn, made him feel so strongly about this election.
