if we can get our hands on Jackson we'll be straight. Don't know what we'd do with Winslow, maybe just slide him to the 4.

That dribbling move @ 1:05 really opened my eyes. Please, Basketball gods/rigged system, give us the number 1 pick for our misery like you handed Cleveland 3 of them.

I saw this new scouting report on Hartenstein:

They haven't put up a weaknesses video yet. I really like his highlights though. People on the net have thrown out some crazy comps though, I know nbadraft net had Nowitzki and I saw another one saying Durant. That scares me because that's crazy. I feel like I did when I watched Porzingis highlights, I see the potential there but I'm afraid of being disappointed like he becomes a Bargnani or something because it's hard for me to judge the Europeans.

You trade him for a stretch 4 & picks or move him to the 2 if his shooting improves

I really like what I see from IH. He's got such great size and a nice skillset.

A near 7 foot sweet shooting German is going to draw Dirk comparisons.

I think he's going to be a fringe top ten guy because scouts and GMs are going to be afraid to take a chance on him in such a quality draft. I'd love to get a second pick in the lottery to have a chance at him. If not, then we may finish with a record that puts us into position to draft him regardless. Fills the other forward spot nicely.

J-House, I don't see having Justise and drafting JJ as a problem causer for our roster. We don't have much depth anywhere, so Justise would grab those minutes. We're still heavy into rebuilding, so we need all the talent we can get.

Hallstar, I wouldn't want to trade Winslow yet, partly because his value is lower due to not being a shiny new draft pick anymore and not showing enough of an offensive game to warrant a quality return. Justise's value is similar to buying a car. As soon as you drive it off the lot it has depreciated in value. I can't imagine a team giving us what we want in return at the moment.

Ideally Winslow continues to improve as the starting 3 or 2. we get Josh Jackson, I see him more as a 2, and move JRich to the 1. TJ sixth man. So Dragic is the guy to move, which makes sense, his age wouldn't be in line with what we have going forward.

I don't think Giles is going to be as good as he's labeled to be.

I'm pretty convinced of JJ and his positioning. Smith is going to be a bad boy though.

I'd love to get a late lotto pick in this draft for Dragic if we could move him. We've got plenty of backcourt guys at the moment anyway.

Lonzo Ball looking real good in his UCLA debut:

6-8 FG | 3-4 3P FG | 4-5 FT | 19 points | 11 assists (1 turnover) | 8 rebounds | 2 steals

in a 119-80 victory. I think he is the type of PG that can run a real pace offense for the HEAT.

Can't wait to see how he plays when the competition level goes up.

Yeah, let's wait a bit before we get too hyped about him. UCLA has a way of producing guards that either slip through the cracks or just appear flashy, but now the league is less excited by the highlights and athleticism, and guards (esp. PGs) need more than that. It will be interesting to see how his season goes.

Farmar, Westbrook, Holiday, Collison, LaVine would all go higher in redrafts. For some reason UCLA guards get under rated :/

We've been over this guys. Dude's last name is Ball. We need to get him.

I know i should just ignore it but this thread just really really really bothers me. You are not going to find a player in the draft that will immediately turn any team around and to be focused on the draft to me is admitting we are going to suck for at least the next 3-5 years. We already have our all star level talent in Whiteside, defensive stopper in Winslow and our 3rd scorer in Dragic, Richardson, TJ or even Waiters. We need more quality depth at C an PF and a VETERAN players that can carry the scoring load. If the Heat Draft a any player in the draft it would be a mistake!!
