The C's are a wounded team, playing without 2 of their 3 best players, but I don't think anyone would have beaten us last night.

Trey Burke: A week or so ago I wrote that what Burke does best is shoot; he was a very good shooter in college. Can't conclude anything from one game, obviously, but in the first 6 games he took 19 shots in 61 minutes as opposed to last night's 9 shots in 17 minutes, so maybe he's getting the word from coaches to shoot more?

Porter played the 4 a lot last night. The lineup with him, Thornton, Sato & a PG on the floor was interesting. Saw a lot of that.

We shot 50% from the floor last night -- but of our 46 misses we got 19 of them back via offensive rebounds! It would be interesting to know how many minutes of the 48 the ball was in our hands vs. theirs.

I can't fathom what's going on with Beal. He just can't get anything done. He made 1 shot last night -- a put-back of his own miss.

Of all the games to be late to arrive for... I was astonished when I saw the score late in the 1st Q.

I continued to be astonished by our bench. Burke and Thornton both contributed in a positive way.
Smith even joined the party by not being just outright awful as he has been for most of the season to date.

There was a unabashed C fan behind me. He being facetious about OP all night. But what
was kinda funny about him was his outrage at Wall's Flagrant 2 while wearing a McHale jersey.

Wall - On the fast break he seems to be too fast for NBA refs to pick up the fouls. Also, he's frequently trying to evade contact, while players like Harden and Thomas look to initiate contact. He's getting screwed, but acting up won't get him anywhere.
Burke - Where did that come from? Maybe was told to forget about facilitating, and just look for his own shot. Only problem is that it's also Thornton's role.
Beal - Maybe getting stronger to better absorb contact has thrown off his shot. Just a theory. Never having been a good shooter, or particularly strong, I wouldn't know.
Satoransky - Really like his game, but needs to be more of a scoring threat. Hopefully, knowing he'll continue to get plenty of minutes will boost his confidence to shoot more.

Let them compete for backup SG minutes, which will have them both better prepared when Beal is injured.

Would also like to see that, but at least he's showing he can backup Wall to some degree, which is good because the backup PG can't.

Sato looked really tentative in his first couple games and less so the last few games.
Hopefully the trend will continue and he'll start playing instinctively, the game will slow
down and he'll be more relaxed when he shoots -> more makes. At least right now he's
not forcing a lot of bad shots.

Statistically, Satoransky has been terrible. His 6.9 PER shows he's simply not producing enough to play any significant minutes, and his 42% eFG and TS% aren't acceptable - even Burke is at 55/54%. Of course, we expected he'd start slow and improve, but he does have to play better.

Satoransky's numbers look terrible, but within this small sample size, take away Burke's last game and there isn't too much difference in offensive %. I like a lot of what I see so far (passing, running, instincts), and since they don't have a reliable backup for Wall, I would prefer they feed minutes to Satoransky where they can to see if he will develop more of an offensive game and get more comfortable with the NBA pace.

Wait a minute: I'm thinking this is a GREAT CHANCE for America to be better than ever.

People are so fearful they just might become politically active. A fair political process involving consensus and open debate (and not extreme fundamentalism) will make things work out fine, queridiculo.
