yep. also gets tape on guys to learn from. Kilpatrick and RHJ are both benefiting from this experience.

I missed the final ~5 minutes when the Nets made the run, I'll go back and watch it. Terrific that we got this win.

So far beside the Bulls game the Nets competed hard, play together and showed their grits. All of the loses were close besides Bulls. This Nets team is so enjoyable to watch. 4-5!!

RHJ is a stat filler yes, but Booker is one of those guys that could be dropping 25 per game easily once he gets it together.

25 per game easily ? I;m thinking more of 15 per

15? he averaged 14 last year as a rookie in just 27 minutes a night and is at 22 this year coming into tonight.

yeah exactly. i'm happy RHJ outplayed him but lets be real about this. That kid can ball his ass off and you have to expect his efficiency to rise as he matures.

But supposedly we are the crappiest the team in the league that's even worse than the Sixers. So.. we are not suppose to beat any team :P

And despite talking about development of players and cultural of the team. We fans are still bitter and frustrated after every lost. And everyone is so happy and wants to celebrate after every supposedly meaningless win. :D

Or maybe we are beating teams that people thought were better than we would be?

How about start giving credit where credit is due? We have the second best bench in the league, top scoring reserve, #2 in the league in pace and almost went 3-0 in this week without Lin, Whitehead and practically no PGs available. Oh, and we haven't seen our first round pick play.

We have a wonderful coach and a genius GM. For the first time since Lawerence Frank taking over...I'm happy with who's running this team.

It's great just to be happy for a win after such lousy past seasons. There was such an air of negativity and depression during the pre-season.

Booker came in and had a semi fast break layup.

missed jumper by the suns and post up by booker he got fouled and made both free throws

then post up brook pass to cutting RHJ who enarly made and and 1. made the FTs

booker off feed on the break for a layup

then a dagger three on a drive and kick out from rhj to brook

that was basically it.

I love watching Lin on the sidelines being super active and talking to kilpatrick, yogi, foye, whitehead, etc.
The Nets really have a lot of team spirit. And a great deal of respect for Lin.

Kenny has done an amazing job. even if we had say... celtics or hawks level talent having everyone buy in, play with chemisry, and play hrd for 48 minutes this quick when you have a new coach, system, and 10 new players is pretty remarkable.

i think if you told most people we would be playing with this kind of effort and comfort and level of execution within the system after 82 games they would take it. .. let alone after 9 games

I say play Brook against Clippers next game, if we get blown out (which I predict we will), we can rest him and he'll be fresh against the Lakers.

Against the Lakers though, you guys are not scared of them but they are coming to be a legitimate young team with real talent. They are a definition of a good developing team. And people saying the Nets are a development first team, yeah well so are the Lakers and they are not sacrificing wins for developing because in no way does it helps them better develop. To them, they don't view it as development first, win second although they do primarily value development, winning is simply a byproduct of their development not a separate entity.

I expect the Clippers as well as the Lakers to be hard fights for us, what I want and will be satisfied with is that we continue to play hard and not give up.

I don't know why some of you guys on here are trolling on the Celtics board, it's a little premature for that , we can still end up with top 5 worst records @ Jbeachboy and DeRoma and Hood... wait until at least the all star break so we can know for sure what were dealing with.

Best part about this 4-5 start? We could easily be .500 with the Milwaukee loss.

We still have the most cap space in the league ($19m). We're going to be in position to capitalize on trades wether it's taking on an expensive contract for picks or adding another young player (Cauley-Stein?) that fits into the system.

Win-win situation.

i dont think brook is the difference between winning and losing the lakers game. he did next to nothing tonite outside of a 2 or 3 blocks in the first minute and we won by 15.

We will win or lose games based on shooting.13-35 from three tonite. brook playing well obviously helps our chances of winning... but we can beat LA without him. they arent some jauggernaut. the beat teams who think they can win without playing hard... but that wont happen vs us.

we hit our shots, we will win. brook or no brook

Usually dont give a crap when people write stuff like that. Good Win Loved seeing the hustle out there from everyone. Booker or Lebron? I'd have to go with LeBooks
