You have to pick 8 players, maximum 90.0 FGA. Timespan is 1954-55 to 2015-16 seasons. To be eligible, a player had to play in more than 50% of available games in a season - so for example, in a full 82-game season, he has to have at least 42 games played, in the shortened 66-game 2011-12 season, he has to have at least 34 games, and in the 50-game 1998-99 season, at least 26 games. Obviously the season was shorter than 82 games in the 50s and 60s - if you pick a player from one of those seasons, you have to look at the length of a season - for example if there were 75 games in 1959-60 season, a player had to play at least 38 games, etc. I think it's clear. ABA players are also available. Keep in mind the ABA season was 84-games long, so at least 43 games to be available for a player.
The player you draft could not have won an NBA or ABA championship at any point of his career, no matter if he did that as the first option or end of the bench role player. Basically a player had to retire ringless, or if he's still active, he still has to be ringless (obviously active players are eligible, too).
You have to pick a specific season of a player.
If you draft a player from 1954-55 to 1975-76 seasons, remember to multiply his FGA by 0.8. So for example, 1965-66 Wilt Chamberlain, who averaged 25.2 FGA in reality, would be available at 20.2 FGA here (20.16 to be exact, 20.2 after rounding up)...That is, would be available if he didn't win two championships in his career, obviously Wilt is not available in this game.
