Jokic might need to leave the Nuggets if he wants to play center.

I can't blame Denver though. Nurkic is playing better than Jokic this year. Nurkic looks like the better prospect. So ya a trade maybe best for Jokic

I know that centers are not as important in the NBA as they used to be, but there should still be a handful of teams that would pick up the phone if the Nuggets called about Jokic.

Pelicans? Could pair well with AD. No idea what Denver would want or NO could provide

Re: Sophomore Impressions 2016-17
Never understood the hype around Mario Hezonja, and he is not proving me wrong so far. Always looked like a spot up shooter to me at best. His athleticism was always overrated, guy doesnt look plastic in the air, kinda stiffy, and is not the quickest guy ever. But hey, he threw few good looking dunks in between his Euroleague DNP-CD, so take him in the top 5. I dont get it.

Jokic would be near perfect for the Lakers.

I mentioned this earlier as well. If his surgically repaired hips hold up, he could be the steal of the draft. Can't forget he was projected as a freshman lottery pick at UCLA. For the 30th pick with pretty much no freshman season, he has looked really good and got some 1st quarter minutes recently ahead of Iggy off the bench. That is Kurr showing a lot of confidence on a team with a lot of talent, but light in bigs. He seems to have KD, Iggy and Green mentoring him a bit and keeping him focused on his role. While only 6 9, his wing span is huge, and he makes a very interesting piece to put out with Iggy, Klay, Green, Durant, and Livingstone for a super long defensive oriented smallballish line up. People forget he had a solid 3 ball shot at UCLA, as a big, so he could fit in a Green-sub role, if he continues to develop. A great pick by the Warriors who had the depth to show patience and let him heal.

A lot of these guys especially guys like Booker and Russell, theyre given a ton of minutes to play through their ups and downs. I know hes on minutes restrictions still, but I think Okafor might get just around 20 minutes a game this year.
My guess is Okafor will be back around 30mpg soon, since the Sixers don't have anything to play for aside from his and the other guys' development. Okafor in particular seems in serious need of as many in-game reps as he can handle--he's still very much adjusting mentally to the game and still sees it like a rookie does, confused at double teams and uncertain when he's comfortable pulling up and when he's spinning, etc. He's been making more of an effort to pass this year and he's also been pretty unstoppable as a bench scorer when they've fed him the ball. It's possible that keeping him at 24mpg (his current restriction) is a good idea, if they can get him to be fully confident and engaged for every second of that time.
As a sidenote, I'm looking forward to the time when he's not viewed as 'former projected #1 overall player' and people can just see him for the weird and interesting talent he is. Curious what people's impressions would be if he was taken like 20th overall and didn't have a huge hypetrain carrying him into his NBA career.

He's currently shooting 76.5% and looks more comfortable every time he plays. If Looney, McCaw and Damian Jones can all be rotation level players sooner than later the W's are in great shape going into the future.

Re: Sophomore Impressions 2016-17
This is already well known but jeez, Porzingis is a stud. It's not legal to be 7'3 and to move like that. Before he pulled out I wanted him so bad in the 2014 draft with our 20th pick, but then again knowing our organization, we'd just make him fat and play him at center instead of embracing his mobility.

Jokic would be ideal on the Celts, would mean Horford to slide over to PF

Still trying to figure out how Myles Turner went for 58 points, 23 rebs and 18 blocks on opening night and now is averaging like 12 points and 7 rebounds ever since.

Very interesting. I have liked Kaminsky. I think Jokic and Exum are low because they are playing out of position.
