+3 Warren - efficient shooting once again while getting 4 steals...zero turnovers...add a couple assists as well.
+2 Bledsoe - gotta give props on a 0 turnover night (despite only 5 assists), getting to the line, not missing a FT, 20 pts
+1 Bender - hit his shots, had a block and a couple of rebounds in limited minutes...not sure why not playing more..no turnovers

Not sure if I want to vote for Cactus yet as the only person who really didn't play well is Chriss, though he did some good things. Booker certainly didn't shoot well.

Our defense obviously isn't great but who's is against the Warriors? Not that it's been necessarily good against anyone else so I shouldn't start complaining now..I knew with this young team and vet roster we would be really bad defensively.

+3 Tucker - another good game off of the bench
+2 Dudley - great ball movement and shooting
+1 Warren - playing great on both ends of the court

+ side note: the 2nd units ball movement was on point tonight. Was great to see!

-1 Chriss - 4to's in 16minutes
-2 Len - not a terrible game, just expected more against a weak interior team
-3 Booker - forced his shot a bit too much, sometimes I wonder what he's doing on D

- side note: We have the defenders, why isn't our team good (even average) defensively? Scheme? Philosophy? Effort?

I'd say it's a combination of youth, lineup inconsistency, and always having at least 1 below average defender on the floor.

Gotta agree with Bdub, can't give any cactus to anyone because I feel like everyone played a pretty good game. Chriss struggled but he's a rookie so I'll give him a pass, definitely not the reason we lost, the Warriors are just a better team.

I think everyone played well but the entire team started to fall apart (b2b, hard for a young team to stop the force that the warriors are for a full 48 mins)

+3 Dudley - close to 50 percent shooting from 3
+2 Tucker - the defense and heart that everyone should play with
+1 Warren - just does what he needs to do everygame

OK, I'm thinking I'll make it if you choose to abstain from Cactus voting and more people abstain than vote, we just won't give out a (-3)-(-2)-(-1).

Sound good?

My first thought was that we should just count the votes, but if more people than not thought that no players played that poorly, maybe it is better to leave that game out.

This one was a bit of an anomaly though. I mean Chriss overall did not play well, but I felt he was really the only one other than Booker not shooting well.

I think that rule makes sense though, because if enough people are not voting on that side, it means the majority feels no one really deserves blame or played that poorly, and the majority is usually what the masses feel, unless you use the electoral college.

The bench kept us in it so I'll give them the credit:

3. PJ - Battled down low and made the small ball work
2. JYD - Keeps on getting it done
1. LB

+3 Warren. I love this kid. He never gives up.
+2 Dudley...like having a coach on the floor.
+1 Tucker...battled last night.

-1 Booker...he really can't be this clueless on D, can he?
-2 Knight...apparently he's been replaced by a pod person.
-3 Chriss....keep your head in the game, rook.

+2 Warren
+1 Bender

Pretty good game for most of the team. Just need to find ways to close games out but I do appreciate the effort. Much easier watching losses this year compared to last year.

Final.

3. TJ
2. Dudley
1. PJ

8 people struggled to find a Cactus so we'll take this loss as a win for the team.

Standings.
