As per my twitter stalker ability, Nerlens wants to be paid 25mil per year.

With this team in desperate need of scoring and with Embiid's superior defensive ability, I'd sign a Dedmon caliber shotblocker and use the money to take my chances with a scorer.

I think 25m for a shotblocker is only applicable if that's your main big.

He may want that, but I doubt he's getting paid it. Adams and Gobert set the market, I can't imagine a team paying that much more for him given his injuries and attitude.

$25M per is outrageous for a player who's declined since his rookie year.

He simply isn't as good as Adams or Gobert either.

Everyone wants to be paid 25 million. Seems like a stretch to assume much from that. He'll likely accept whatever his highest offer is.

Truly, where on earth is Nerlens and when is he coming back? Surgery was 16 days ago, and we should be hearing about him getting close to practicing. This is getting really frustrating. With all of the upcoming games and both Embiid and Okafor on minutes and games restrictions, we could really use Nerlens out there for whatever minutes he can give us. Has anyone seen any updates recently?

He is down there, just saw this article about him rehabbing with a Dr. Kevin Wilk and some other athletes.

This means nothing. If someone tweeted me someone would give me a billion dollars I would like that too. That doesn't mean I will get it. Come on man.

Oh whoops lol you said last nov. threw me off

Either way your post was a bit of a leap. I'm sure he would like 25m but using the fact that he liked a post to paint him as delusional is pretty unfair.

Yeah take a look at Biyombo. No thanks. You can't win with defensive bigs taking up huge portions of your cap.

Last two winners had Tristan Thompson and Andrew Bogut anchoring their defense.

What is your evidence for this claim?

Bogut finished #1, #1, #2 in DRPM the last three seasons and was the second highest paid player on the Warriors when they won the championship. He was a significant offensive negative each season. One of the best teams of all time won with a defensive big taking up a large portion of their cap.

Only because the rest of the team took discounts. Who was the one they jettisoned when they signed Durant?

Tristan Thompson was signed once they already had the other pieces in place.

Basically what I'm saying is our roster is not finished. I don't think it makes a whole lot sense to put ourselves in the same situation ORL finds themselves in. We need the cap space for elite talent.

You're backtracking. Now you're trying to add stipulations to what you said. Nice try.

How to do of white mamba leaks?
Is he a legit source?

Warriors dissming the rumor, means nothing.
