Justin Hamilton as third most efficient scorer in the league probably doesn't last.

i actually think he can stay there... he is a deadly catch&shoot option... most his points are from that area, 5s usually don't come out defending him

None of those guys will continue those numbers, they are only achievable in small sample sizes.

so guys taking this too seriously is a bit laughable

It's a lot easier to take when your team isn't desperate for a star player. I wouldn't be be so worried about he next draft if Ainge had a little better draft history or if we've seen a young player under Stevens take a big leap in developement. If Brown plays himself into good minutes by the end of the season maybe C's fans can relax a bit.

That's just the reality of human beings. We need to make the mistakes in order for us to stop making lateral moves. I also think you need to tip your hats off towards what the Nets are trying to accomplish to be one of the most dominant team in the league by risking everything. I think it's a much more respectful move than half of the league just trying to be pretenders with their franchise for years. Yet, when they went unsuccessful they completely swallowed their pride and went to a complete 180 in just of a span of a year. So in truth Sean Marks is a franchise changer that the Nets were hoping for and it was a snowball effect of Celtics/Nets trade.

The fact that this team is projected to be horrible for at least a decade and showing life just after one year lost is a complete win for the franchise itself. I mean look at the Sixers and Sac they are both "trusting the process." Yet, their team is just stuck in limbo thinking that they are just a talent away from being great years and no signs of life being successful.

So for me, the trade was actually KG, Pierce, Terry, and Sean Marks(Franchise changer) for Humphries, Wallace, James Young, Jaylen Brown, 2017 and 2018 first rounders (that looks to be around 6th-15th pick). You guys might've won on paper but you gave us gem with Sean Marks that took a huge dent on those "valued" picks.

How do you conclude that you guys are showing life? I'm not being hostile I just don't agree. I mean you're talent is very poor. If you trade Brook, you'll get mid first/late lottery pick but your outlook is Caris Levert, Rondae and...not much? I agree Marks is good pick up but the roster is just horrid.

And your pick this year is more likely to be a top 3 pick than #5 or #6. Which teams have less talent than you guys in the NBA right now? And then if you trade Brook?

If you honestly believe that NBA standing is solely base on talent alone you should educate yourself outside of looking stats alone. This isn't fantasy basketball where you win by picking who puts up stats. There so many variable besides talent. If it was then why the hell isn't the Timberwolves, Sacramento, Sixers, and the Suns winning anything? They are filled with lottery talent, yet nothing ever happens to their team.

Let me ask you another question when was the last time the Spurs picked up lottery talent?

When did I say it was solely based on talent?
You have the worst roster in the NBA. You are terrible defensively. You will finish bottom 5. You are 0-4 vs teams that are .500 so far.
The Nets are a terrible team. The Kings aren't filled with talent. They have one great player who has the mental/emotional stability of a 13 year old girl.

Talent is the THE most important component to an NBA team. Don't confuse talent with potential. Are you really trying to say that the 76ers, Suns and Wolves have less TALENT than you guys? Even the Kings have more talent than you guys.

Again, name some teams that have less talent your team. Be honest.
You said we might have won the Garnet/Pierce trade on paper but...but what? We won on paper and on the court. lol.
You guys are awful and it's simple as that.
One day Marcus Smart will be defensive player of the year, mark my words.

The Pacers, Wolves and Suns will not have .500 records by the end of the season. The Pacers might end up something like .45% but the other two teams will be .40% at best. The Pistons are right on the fringe of +/ .500% depending on their injuries.

The Nets are absolutely trash. Their biggest problem is that they will be worse with Jeremy Lin on the floor. They are trying to build a spacing offense built around the 3 point shot whilst trying to develop Lin as a value contract trade asset, and unfortunately his game kills ball movement and their ideal of getting wide open three's. Perhaps he'll change his strategy and dump out more on drives but he loves to put the ball on the floor with blinkers for the basket.

So you think Lin will make them worse? I'm pretty sure you are just baiting. If not, I suggest that you should watch more basketball.

You guys signed him as a potential trade asset. He's not a starting caliber PG in the NBA. He kills your ball movement completely.
Whatever enjoy watching him all season long. haha.
