Tap yourself even a couple inches above the exposed area close to your spine, you can still feel the reverberations in your stem. It's not really til you're on the peak of that big Sam Cassell bump that you'll stop feeling it in your stem.
BTW, it's not Rogan pushing this back of the head thing, it's Bravo who keeps bringing it up. Bravo is for crazy amounts of brutality, he thinks refs shouldn't be stopping fights til much later, he's fine with stomps at teh fenceline, he's a psycho. Also, has the informed opinions of a pea. He keeps asking rhetorical questions about the skull on this issue that are categorically wrong. "Is it _really_ worse than the forehead?" Yes.

Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

I bet he would lol.
Fight #3 should wait. The rubber match doesn't mean a whole lot now.
Conner vs. Khabib needs to happen.

Will the rubber match ever mean anything though? Nate is the type of dude to stick to his guns. He says he isn't fighting anyone but Conor. A year or two from now when Nate hasn't fought in a year or two, will it really mean more then?

Man, mmahour listen. Conor and his coach had ZERO respect for Alvarez. Conor saying after the fight that Alvarez didn't even belong in the cage with him. Kavanagh on Ariel's show now saying they knew this was a huge mismatch and he thought it would look like the Brimage fight. Lol IDK if you guys remember the Brimage fight but it was an a$$ whooping (actually come to think about it, it kind of did look like the Alvarez fight, just a lot of one dude being sniped over and over).

Respect is earned not given. Alvarez was pretty disrespectful leading up to the fight also... saying that it would be his easiest fight and that he'd walk all over him... yet he didn't even land a meaningful shot nor a take down. Little boy belt and all. I mean Conor isn't all that respectful as well but Diaz definitely earned his respect. Aldo too until he opened his mouth about it being a lucky shot and all.

Meh IDK I don't really read into pre-fight hype from fighters. Alvarez knew very well that Conor was a threat, I can promise you that.
Conor is just usually very respectful to his opponent's after fights. Can't really think of a time when he wasn't, in wins or losses.

Yeah that's what I mean about Conor being respectful until he feels it isn't warranted and I think with Alvarez antics about being an easy fight didn't fly with him that's all. His win over Aldo saw him praise him with the in-ring interview say he is a legend in the sport and all as well as the 2nd encounter with Diaz he gave major props to how much of an animal Nate is.

Yeah Conor would never imply a fight is going to be easy for him.

You should think twice before using sarcasm when speaking about The Conor.

"all these other fighters think all I do is talk, I talk and talk and talk but you know what I BACK IT UP.. I BACK IT UP"
haha its easy to not respect someone that talked **** but ends of doing absolutely nothing in the cage. Conor's 205 performance was masterful.

Does that apply to UFC 196?

If your comparing Conor's performance @ 196 to Eddies @ 205 its night and day.
Conor was still able to win that first round decisively and landed some huge shots. He just gassed out in the 2nd and got caught. Which makes sense if you re-watch the fight and see the man throw everything into his shots and try some wild wheel kicks.

And you're ok with a guy talking trash in then gassing in the 2nd? Since he "talked but backed it up". Ok then.

Yeah I'm okay with Conor's trash talk to sell the fight because when he is in the cage he is able to back up some of his claims. I was just stating the difference between the two fights. Alvarez talked trash but went in there and couldn't even land a shot nor a take down. Its not to say his 196 performance was great, but he still was able to land some big shots and make the fight competitive.. at least for the first round and a bit.

Brett Okamoto (ESPN's MMA guy) tweeted that Gastelum is being suspended 6 months by the NY commission for not showing up at the weigh in.

Does that have any teeth, or does it just mean he can't fight in NY for the next 6 months?
I guess most ACs honour each others' suspensions, so maybe there's some effect.

I would think it'd be honored by U.S. commissions like they do other suspensions. And in any case I don't see why the UFC would go against them for Gastelum's sake.

Apparently Gastelum's suspension is an"administrative" one which means it only applies to NY, they aren't asking other commissions to honor it.
