Gary Harris out 4-6 MORE weeks

Post#1 » by skywalker33 » Tue Nov 15, 2016 10:56 pm

For all the hope we've had for this season, it seems we keep getting derailed. Gary Harris looks to be out 4-6 weeks with a foot injury after just coming back from a groin injury. Barton looks on the verge of coming back but this is really starting to test our depth.

It's OK, Gallinari can bump up to 40 mpg and Chandler, when he's available, can bump up to 35 mpg. Faried could go from 24 to 35 mpg and Nelson could certainly go from 24 mpg to 35 mpg. That totals 30+ mpg and that should cover losing Harris and we won't even have to play our rookies much.

We have plenty of depth at SG, and I wish it meant more time for Murray and Beasley as we are going to continue to lose with Malone refusing to play the bigs in the 4th quarter. Instead it will probably be Nelson that gets the majority of the minutes, until he gets injured that is.

My biggest worry with this is Mudiay. He plays so much better with Harris next to him in the backcourt, and he was really dreadful without him for the first week or so. This next month could get really ugly.
