2nd half stats are pretty much better obviously.

Among everything, i will point fouls : From 5 to 17 and of course the boards, from 14 to 37 while Minny went from 28 to 43
Being agressive is the key for this team.

Good win, Minny will make some teams suffer, especially once they have replaced rubio or fix the pg position

If we can just figure out Marvin Williams' slump and the 2nd quarter we'd be a 60 win team. Still want that Brandon Knight trade. Would even include Lamb at this point. Sessions just isn't a fit for this second unit.

Please god no, knight is awful almost the equivalent to sessions except a chucker. A black hole who is a below avg free throw shooter.

Interesting minutes distribution: Kemba, Batum, MKG, and Zeller all 30+.

Belinelli: 27
Frank: 26
Marvin: 22

Sessions: 13 (purely backup PG, no shared time with Kemba)
Hibbert: 11
Hawes: 4

Guess Hibbert is still on a minute restriction, but he played less than he did vs. Cleveland and Hawes was basically out of the rotation tonight. Think their minutes (and to a lesser extent Marvin's as well) have more to do with Cody and Frank than anything else.

Keep Brandon Knight away from the Hornets.

Hibbert looked like he tweaked his knee tonight, hope he didn't have a setback.

Our starting lineup is good, even with Marvin struggling so badly. We knew that coming into the season, but maybe they are even a tad better than last year's starting lineup that was top notch 2nd half of the year.

I don't know what is going on at halftime, but we are straight wrecking teams in the 3rd. It's a nice change from those days when we used to fall apart every 3rd quarter.

Kemba looks quicker this year than ever before. Is that even possible? It's hard to even remember how bad he was at finishing around the rim as a rookie. What a huge leap he has made.

Well done Frank. Hopefully he will become more consistent was the season progresses. So much variation right now between his good games and bad games.

In the 1st half I was thinking about talking about how bad Batum looks on defense, thinking - is there anyone he can guard? In the first 5 minutes of the 3rd quarter he was a man possessed on defense. He was flying around, getting his hands on passes, staying with Zach every step of the way. I wish he could sustain that type of defense for longer stretches. He certainly is capable of being a plus defender when he sets his mind to task. Odd that at the end of the game it was Batum on Wiggins, not MKG, who started on Wiggins (but kinda got torched in the early 4th, but with little help on the screens from the rest of the 2nd unit).

Clifford really needs to reconsider the 2nd unit and using MKG as the starter to pair with that unit. The offense just is not working w/out one of Kemba or Batum on the floor. It's a double-edge sword however. Leaving Kemba/Batum together for entire 3rd quarter is no doubt part of the reason why we are destroying teams in the 3rd. If Batum comes out 1st instead of MKG, does that change? 2nd unit is just too reliant on Marco and Frank hitting tough shots.

Kinda sad that MKG is even the 5th option when he plays with the 2nd unit.

I don't know who I want gone more Ramon Sessions or Jurgen Klinsmann. Its a tough call. Sessions is killing us right now. I'm not sure we can take the next step to a top 4 team in the East until we get better point guard play off the bench. Cho better be looking to work his magic.

Wiggins has really improved.

I'd still take Cody over Dieng, even if they were same age and had same salary.

If available watch Q4 @ around 6:00. Except ignore the cut/pass everything happened between 6:07 and 6:03. The difference between reacting and recognition + exploiting.

Also why judging Marco with SAC is cruel/unfair and why FK's offensive "ceiling" is incorrectly (partially) pegged to 3P shooting and traditional big man stuff.

some Collins highlights:
Says Zach Lavine reminds him of Rex Chapman
Points out only NBA player other than Marvin Williams to take a higher % of his shots from 3 is Trevor Ariza
Exclaims, after Zeller block leads to a Kemba runout and a 10 pt CHA lead, "Minnesota is stunned. The entire state!"
Calls Hibbert, 8-8 from free throw line this year, "Perfection Personified." Hibbert promptly misses one of two.

Another gutsy win and another comeback from a double digit deficit. Such entertaining ball being played by the team this season.

Lamar with the recap. Does a good job of highlighting Cody's screen assists in the 3rd quarter.
