Josh Jackson's Night is done early because in College Basketball the Refs are the show.

Trade a pick that has a potential PG, Kawhi, Curry in it. No thanks. We're not in the position to win right now. We don't have to tank like the Sixers, but see what you can get out of that pick and build your team from there. Still gonna take years to become a championship caliber team regardless.

Taking years = taking years.

I would agree if we were years away but we are not years away. We have a great center in Whiteside, good PG and back-up PG in Dragic and TJ , and two good players in Winslow and Josh Richardson. To treat this like a complete rebuild would be to waste Whiteside and Dragic. Just adding a capable scorer like Gay or Hayward while keeping Dragic and Whiteside would put in contention for 2nd or 3rd in the east!! Getting quality depth around them would then allow us to challenge the Cavs.

We need a franchise player. Whiteside is great but isn't a franchise player (yet). And none of those guys you mentioned are even close to being a franchise level player.

Five-star wing Lonnie Walker has committed to Miami Hurricanes. He's the program's highest-ranked commitment since ESPN's recruiting database started in 2007. Walker, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Reading High School (Pennsylvania), is ranked No. 19 in the ESPN 100.

Does everything on offense against Duke. Scorer by nature. Game looks so easy for him. He gets compared to Wiggins a lot, but Wiggins never flowed like JJ. He forced a lot of his opportunities. JJ is a natural.

if we could get Josh Jackson and De'Aaron Fox, we'd be set for the future.

Frank Jackson had 11 pts on 5 shots including a game tying three near the end if regulation. Duke only played six guys last night!

Bruce Brown is also a beast for the Canes. He reminds me of Westbrook a bit.

Special treat:
Spoiler:

That stretch where he caught fire in the second half... :o
He has no problem staying in front of his man on D... 8-)
He got screwed on a couple foul calls. Only things I didn't like: 1) Don't get a technical when the call went your way... just why? 2) Tossed up 4 free throws nonchalantly and missed them. 3) Didn't hustle for a couple loose balls earlier in the game.

This game could've been more important for us if Tatum and Giles were playing too. Maybe they'll face off again later in the season. let us hope.

Ball is fun to watch:
Spoiler:

If Smith keeps struggling, I'll move Ball higher than him on my wishlist.

Whiteside leads our team in PPG, RPG, BPG , field goal #, & is anchoring one of the best defensive teams in the league. To me franchise players do more then just score points.

That would be great. He has smooth ball handling skills for someone of his height.

How a player scores is just as important as how much he scores.

There's nobody on the roster we can throw the ball to in a pinch and say "go get me a bucket"...That's why Dion is always in charge down the stretch

I would not be surprised to see JJ sign with Maverick Carter and then with Nike.
