Watched the Nets broadcast for this one. I was surprised to hear Mike Fratello calling their games. That's was a pretty nice surprise.
Solid win. D'Lo, Randle, and Moz ball'n. Good showing by the Nets also. They've been playing hard every game they've been in this year.
The next few games are gonna be tough. A lot of good teams coming to L.A. to play against us. Regardless of the record after these next few games I think we gotta remember that we're already waaaay further ahead than any of us ever expected. Gonna be a lot of "learning moments" over the next few games, but we need this. Our team is really high on itself right now, which is great. But, getting beat up and tossed around by this next part of the schedule is the only way these guys are gonna learn and grow. After this stretch we'll have a very good idea of who we are.

Talking about how bad Julius Randle is:

Ahhhh man...
. Nick Young in the background heckling Randle because, as he put it, "Randle had a great night but... I didn't get one of those assists"... Hahahahaha "JC can get a pass but I can't get a pass" lol.

I agree with your points. Team has been looking good. BUT.....I think this team is starting to abandon the "ball-movement" thing. You get moments...and good stretches of 4-5 plays, and then it disappears for 5 minutes. I got no prob with guys catching and shooting, but Clarkson, Randle, Lou, Russell are trying to do too much dribbling, and "play making" recently. It makes us very beatable...unless someone happens to be on fire.
I think the Spurs will slap us around on Fri. A few guys on our squad are believing the hype, and I kinda hope the Spurs take it to us, and give Luke a reason to knock back a chair in his half-time pep-talk.
Lou and Clarkson especially. You get them on the floor together, and it's a battle to see who's the #1 "Bench guy". I hope they get swarmed and embarrassed early on. I think both could use it. Alot on this team could. I hope we get our a** whooped good the first half, and then Guys come out and remember what we've been doing that's got us here. 10-deep. Not "4th quarter Lou".
I'll take the black-eye from SA...if it gets our focus back.

Yeah. Same here. That was kind of my point. I think it'll be good for us to get beat around a little by some better teams. At times it seems like our guys are believing their own hype a little too much. So much so that they don't always play 100% on every possession. Getting these early wins has been great for team morale and confidence, but getting our butts kicked by these really good teams is played is gonna be good for us in the long run. Even if it means a handful of losses.
Part of the reason I posted that was because I can tell you right now that a lot of people are gonna start complaining once we start losing again. But, getting our butts kicked over this next stretch is important for the growth of this team. We're probably gonna hear a whole lot of complaining from the board over this next stretch. But, overall, it's a good thing for this team in the long run to see that they aren't invincible, and that they have to put in the work every night.

That's true. There will be complaints.
In a way it's a positive thing...but we're good enough to abandon our discipline, and still beat the Pelicans, and the Nets. That is a nice thing. But I think this will be a wake up call. Like you said...it will be good in the long run. It just needs to be complete, and embarrassing. This team has already exceeded expectations. I'm not worried about confidence with our guys anymore. They will survive a massacre.
Hey..I'd be even more pleased if they came out and showed that they know when to bring the A-Game, and give the Spurs fits. We'll see what we get on Fri. Def wanna see that ball moving again. Way too much stagnation the last couple games.
