I really hope at we will see a trend of Watson favoring playing the young kids as the season progresses.
For just a basic explanation of how i came up with my numbers: I weight a players age vs. how many minutes they play each game. And using that calculate the Average Age of Each Minute Played per game.
For me this will be purely for fun.....but i hope it provides some knowledge into how Watson is prioritizing his distribution of minutes, and sparks discussion on the youth movement we desperately want to see.
So in the first column you will see the opponent. And the second column has the average age of the players in all the minutes played throughout the game (AAPMP).
As a basis with player and minutes per game:
Len - 30 / Chandler - 18 / Williams - 0
Chriss - 30 / Dudley - 15
Warren - 30 / Bender - 15 - Tucker - 6
Booker - 30 / Knight - 18 / Jenkins - 0
Bledsoe - 30 / Ulis - 12 / Barbosa - 6
AAPMP - 24
IMO any number above 24 shows that Watson is favoring vets, and anything 24 and under favors playing youth.
So without further adieu:
