Wiggins' offensive game is taking the next step and becoming lethal, but he's now arguably the worst defender of his position among starting players in the league.

Offensively, he's still trying to get it going. He's been marginalized due to the logjam.

I find it hard to call him marginalized when Rubio went down and he was handed the starting role. He then played poorly enough in it that Tyus was getting as many minutes, despite Tyus at one point fighting for the third string pg job.

Some guys can't just turn it on at the drop of a dime. Especially when they've been splitting practice reps and been conditioned to be in a lesser role since training camp. All while adjusting to the NBA lifestyle and playing for a demanding coach like Thibs. Kris Dunn hitting the ground running in his NBA career was a pipedream, given his circumstances.

His circumstances were fine. The expectation that he could hit the ground running and not have some big flaws as a prospect were out of whack, but that had nothing to do with where he ended up.

Nah, I don't see how a defensive distributor going to a team with a starting PG already in place that possesses those very qualities are fine circumstances. Pretty much everyone expected Rubio to be shipped out as soon as Dunn was drafted. Which never materialized.

I'd have a lot more faith in Wiggins' offensive improvement if he weren't just running insanely above expectation on 3s and long 2s. His FT% is down too so it seems unlikely he just magically became an excellent shooter. I'd expect a ton of regression there. He's also getting to the rim slightly less often than last year, though he's getting to the line more often to make up for it.

The Timberwolves blow more bigger leads than we do. Also the Nets are tumbling to reality.

After Luke Babbitt, Rodney McGruder is now starting (and playing 37 minutes) for the Miami Heat, 2-8 now. Dallas and Miami might be going full tank in the near future and I see BC trading for Goran Dragic. :banghead:

Nuggets are trying to make Jokic play power forward so him and Nurkic can fit together. He's really struggling at it so far...

The 23pt/17reb game he had earlier this year was at PF. After that he fell off a cliff. I wouldn't give up on the Jokic/Nurkic frontcourt though, it they can make it work, it sounds deadly.

Brandon Knight would be a pretty bad fit for us, he's been terrible this year, and he's been super overrated in previous years.

Pistons fans hated Brandon Knight. Bucks fans hated Brandon Knight. Suns fans hate Brandon Knight.

I think the trend would continue if he came here.

Knight is grading among the worst PGs in the league right now and the worst among those getting 20+ minutes a night. He's in the bottom half of the league (not just starters, all PGs) every year.

Perhaps, but all three of those teams had him as a point guard, and while he may technically play that position here, he would be absolved from the duties of the point guard position on offense.

He would have a role more conducive to his skills on a team with Simmons.

Sad that we already have an abundance of bigs. Cause I think Favor's lower than general perceived value will be revealed.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

43 points and 16 assists in 2 games and 53 minutes total, nice job Jrue.

Our boy Mo Buckets hit a couple 3's and had 16 points as well.

And Dunn has looked like an incredible athlete and defender with steals, but a terrible pg.
