All-Star Balloting Rigged?

Post#1 » by theman » Mon Jul 9, 2007 1:04 pm

Just to throw another conspiracy theory out there, it looks like the All Star voting could be rigged. Barry Bonds was in fourth place among out fielders for most of the year, then in the last week before voting ended he jumped into the top 3? If he was not voted in then it would be up to the coaches to put him on the roster. Add to that how embaracing would it be to not have Barry playing in his home stadium (like that was a coinsidence).

It is clear that MLB rigged the voting to put Barry on the All-Star team to make it appear fans don't care about steroids.

I hear if you play video of Barry Bonds' 73rd HR backwards, you get visual instructions on how to raise the devil.

Maybe fans just voted a lot in San Francisco.

If I'm not mistaken...Online votes aren't tallied until the last count...

this happens almost every year when the home team has a star that isn't going to get voted to be a starter, and i have some bad news, Nomar in '99 also didn't get voted into the starter by the fans, its all for marketing
