I don't give a **** how fast we play or how poor the roster is, there's no excuse for defense like this and that's on the players and Billy.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

wth

He's been taking over 5 per game and making 33%. Leave him open and expect it to go in.

Seriously, if people say we suck how do you even defend it?

Wasn't part of BD's defensive philosophy supposed to be defending the 3 point line?

I know you guys think I'm a Westbrook hater and all but I just want to say I'm a huge Thunder fan and I do my best to follow all of the games. I apologize if I come off that way, I'm just his biggest critic.

I personally think Westbrook gets a lot of love already and I like to be the balance and provide the skepticism, I suppose. I do expect more out of him at this point of his career and as the leader of our team.

I'll try to tone it down though!

I mean, I'd buy that more if you didn't really somehow claim Lillard was better and make it seem like the bench isn't total garbage. There's next to no talent on this team outside him, Adams, and sometimes Robes and Oladipo.

And he just dragged this sorry crew back into a lead.

I swear Roberson was really good at finishing until this year. He almost has to dunk it lately or else he's missing.

So, if Russ has 40/16/12 we should be able to barely beat the nets.

If this bench had any semblance of talent I'd feel better.

But Portland is losing to NOLA so it could be worse?

One player in a second unit can change a whole dynamic though. If we can get that wing who allows Oladipo to lead the second unit it will create not only more firepower on the bench, but empower Dipo to take a bigger lead and handle the ball more. He is not an off the ball player which is what he is being forced to do out of necessity.

Right now both the starters and bench are unbalanced due to that one quality shooting wing (ie - Gay) we lack.

Agree there.

I'm still not sure I like Cam for Gay though

Problem is that dipo isn't actually a great on ball player either. Better than anyone on the bench right now for sure, but if the bench is going to be good then we need cam to develop into the player here can become.

Kyle Singler made his 1st 3 this season. He's 1-15 since.

Hope Semaj is okay. That was a nice change from the way third quarters have been going though.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.
