For those of you interested, the mandarin subtitles and bits translates to the following:
不过他趁着空档来到纽约罗斯福高中篮球场和一群华裔小朋友举办见面会
He took an opportunity to meet up with the Chinese children at the basketball court of the JDR school.

[书豪哥哥]抱伤开见面会华裔小粉丝乐翻
Jeremy Lin met up with ecstatic little Chinese fans whilst recuperating from his injury.

The rest I think the sub-titles and the speeches matched so I won’t translate them.

Did not expect Master Lo the massage therapist to be the spectacled and bearded hipster in that picture, or at least not those spectacles and that beard.

So Lin was re-evaluated and there's nothing about it from the Nets?

It doesn't look good in near future.

Hamstrings are a tough injury you never ant to rush back from since there is such a good chance of reinjury. combine that with the nets being overly cautious, and not being a 'win now at all costs' team and you probably shoudlnt expect him back too soon.

they skip him 2 more games and they get 8 more recovery days out of it. it expect at least that. if i had to guess it would be early december.

Hammy's reoccur if not treated right. It's understandable.

From Mike Fratello "Lin's expected to come back after 2-3 games. Probably will play against Celtics."

makes sense skipping 3 games gives him another 10 days and miss the road paceers game back for a 3 game homestand

Not sure when he said this. Might have been a game or 2 ago. Anyhow sounds hopeful if it's accurate.

I'm just looking for a status report. I'm hoping before December, however. It'll take awhile before Lin gets his full game back, explosiveness on the drive, maybe his shot, and so forth.

Saw what Fratello said, don't know when he said it however. Is he practicing with the team in any capacity? I've read that he was shooting and making 3s somewhere, a tweet I think.

i've been saying this for weeks. you have to let soft tissue injuries heal completely or else this will be a season long issue

yeah... id rather him come back 5 games late to prevent going down for 10 more games later with a flare up.

but whenever he is back it will be a big shot in the arm for this team. offense overall has looked good but we could use him for once it starts to get iso crazy.

Does anyone on this forum have any pull to get the Nets management to release more information on Lin? Foye had a slight hamstring pull and he was out less than 2 weeks. On Wednesday Lin will be out 3 weeks. Why won't they tell us if it was a type 1, 2, 3 pull? At least we'd have some idea then when he could possibly return. I think they owe their fans at least that much.

It's not that deep. They're just being cautious with bringing players back from injuries because there's no reason not to. Caris LeVert is another prime example.

However if you want somebody with a source, you'll have to speak with Carl. That is if the Russians haven't had him killed by now

KA says he's "proceeding according to schedule"
but won't say what the schedule is. Don't you find that at least a little bit frustrating? If he knows the schedule why can't he say what it is? He doesn't have to give a definite date just a ballpark.

Not really, it is what it is. Of course I would like to know when Lin will be back, that's actually why I came to this thread in the first place. But it doesn't matter if they tell us the date or not. All that matters is Lin having a setback. And they would've told us if he had a setback. If KA says he's on schedule then he'll be back soon.

After seeing AJ Green of the Cincinnati Bengals rip his hamstring in half yesterday, I think it's best to allow the Nets' medical staff to stick to their plans for a 100% healed hammy for Lin.

It's November. I'd rather him miss time now than be out for an extended time during the middle of the season because he was rushed back.

Thats just how they run things... internal and tight lipped... not unlike pop and the spurs or belicheck and the patriots.

to me it isnt frustrating, its refreshing since under the last regime there were always leaks and it got ugly

Even Bob Windrem has been left in the dark
