What's the difference between Monroe and Enes Kanter at this point, honestly?

Kanter's the better scorer/rebounder - he usually gets more (especially rebounds) and does it more efficiently, while Monroe's a guy who passes well enough to run the offense through. While Kanter has a terrible rep for defense, I think he's more capable there. Kanter's better, imo.

Not a lot of talent on that Kings roster, but he seems to be getting great production out of his two best players.

Joerger WILL be a HOF coach if God allows him longevity.

The Kings hired the man who Washington could have (should have?!!!) hired when Flip Saunders failed in DC.

Randy Wittman did well IMO as an interim coach. Continuity and Randy are the route they went. I applauded them for it. Wittman proved to be way more successful than Flip. (R.I.P. - - I so wanted Saunders live and win in Minnesota!)

That said, queridico, Joerger is THE BEST. Boogie has a GREAT coach now. That team will be close if they don't make the playoffs THIS SEASON.

NOT SURPRISED AT ALL that Cousins' and Gay's numbers are both terrific.

Give Vlade Divac props, along with Joerger... and Shaq!

Per Justin Verrier, ESPN Staff writer:

Hornets coach Steve Clifford has been impressed by the continued growth of point guard Kemba Walker this season. "As good as he was last year, I think he's at another level," Clifford said. Walker, in his sixth season in Charlotte, is averaging career-highs in points (25.4) and PER (28.33). "Just watching him, he's so confident now," Clifford said.

Which player is better, Kemba Walker or John Wall?

Joel Embiid has 10 points in the first 3 minutes of Philadelphia vs Phoenix.

Embiid is a TERRIFIC three point shooter. Go figure.

You need to step out of your hate echo-chamber. Wall is better than walker pretty easily. A tiny sample size of games doesn't change that.

The kings continue to lose, lose, lose. They need to make wholesale changes to that roster. They are poisoned from within, and poor joegger is being asked to make chicken salad out of chicken ish. Trade all the distractions and losers, and move forward.

Go look up the numbers on Wall. Prior to tonight's game, Wall was averaging 23 points and 8 assists (in just 33 minutes) with a PER of 25. And those numbers will increase after his performance in Miami. I'm guessing his PER will be about 26 and his TS% will be at .570 or so. Oh yeah, and he's shooting .430 from 3-point range.

W is shooting 53.5% on 3 pointers. That's like shooting 80.5% on 2-point attempts!

That means, essentially, he is more efficient on those shots than most guys are on FTAs. Including more efficient than himself! :)

Giannis of the Bucks just keeps on getting better - to the point that he's a clear all-star at 21. I haven't checked, but I think he's leading the Bucks in scoring, rebounding, assists, steals, and blocks - while hitting 55% of his 2's. He can legitimately play any position. And there's still room for improvement - once he develops a solid 3 point shot and cuts down on turnovers.
