Yes, the word finally came to mind to me, too!

When are we getting Ish Smith? Our turn outta be coming up sometime over the next few years.

I don't agree, the game wasn't an ugly one really. Was good flow mainly and a lot of good back-and-forth action.

Turns out having Horford and Crowder solves a lot of our problems. Who knew?

Horford gets the cigar thanks to his strong start and clutch play down the stretch. Glad to have him back!!

I'm with you -- thought this was one of the better played games of the year so far.

TBH. We played the Starters way too many minutes.

Bradley = 36 mins.
Thomas = 36 mins.
Horford = 34. And he just came back.
Smart = 31. (6th-man)

These guys shouldn't be playing more than 30 mins.
It's a long season. And we have a Strong 2nd Unit. Of which, that 2nd Unit needs to get set, and produce.

We had a great first quarter, and Horford was great all through out, but there was lots of bad shots and IT forcing things that weren't there. Rozier & Smart combo was a low point.

Nice to have a healthy team once again... (knocking on all the wood I can find).
Horford easy VC.

I hear you but I don't agree. You also have to remember it was 2 teams on a b2b who both traveled one of the games.

Our second unit sucks...and playing 36 minutes is pretty average.

Kinda validates how long he took in coming back when you have a game like this coming back from injury. Frustration had definitely set in. Hopefully now we can get some continuity going.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

The way the Celtics defended that last play was incredible. The perimeter guys took away every option and Jerebko turning his back on Udrih took away a pass to Harris too. That forced them to go to probably the 4th option in Baynes and Horford ended that right quick.

There were issues tonight, but for the first game together as a group, they looked pretty good. And Detroit is a good team, especially at home. That is a very solid win for the Celtics.

I believe that's more of an antiquated way of handling a Roster.
Nowadays, the more successful teams rely on a strong Bench, and try to rest players for the long 82 Game Season, and potential 28 Game Post-Season.

I voted Smart.

I get it that everyone else voted Horford.

Smart gave himself up completely to get us that win.

The guy is fearless and doesn't give a crap about his own well-being, just why he's probably injured so often.

He kept the ball alive.
