Add another 30mpg big without touching those eight assets, and we'll be in business. (You all know my target by now. If not, hint: he had 10/16/4/5 tonight.)
I agree with your overall sentiment, but I think Rozier has a chance to be a player. He's already a safe defender, most nights he is going to be in the right spot. He doesn't hawk the ball yet like Smart, but he could get there. Offensively he has great handle, and there was a point in the game tonight when he was matched up against Udrich that the team wanted him to assert himself offensively, but he is still too tentative. Rozier drove it once and hit a sweet three, but in total not enough offense for a kid who could likely provide it. I'm not saying he's untouchable, but I do like the player that he's developing into.
No, I agree; I'm quietly at the front of the Rozier bandwagon. I am always tempted to include him and the Memphis pick as pieces of serious potential, but, there's a balance to be struck - put too many assets in the "core" category, and there's nothing left to make a deal with. Too few, and you're being reckless. Trying to strike a balance of being willing to give something to get something, while not letting any of the big denomination chips go...
