a lot of teams give atlanta trouble in the playoffs because they don't have a real go to player. they're one of the best teams at playing like a team but they also have no choice. this gets exposed every playoffs. their bail out option is kyle korver who's somewhat limited.

They have Dwight "Fight Night" Howard :D :D :D

Much better rebounder though. I can comfortably say that even though Marc is more like ROLO in that he clears for boards. I'll fall back on the defensive criticism. He's showing potential.

I thought Marc would be a good rebounder when he first started, he certainly has the positioning to secure them. But yes Billy does have some more toughness down in the paint that I wasn't expecting. Just makes it easier to slide Noah into that Bogut role. Get your starts, set the tone, then let the ballers ball.

Did you watch much of his Olympic performances? He showed it there and always had great per minute numbers for boards in Europe. This is who he is. But whoever is working with him on positioning and defensive footwork - they can get a gold star. Even if it's Rambis.

I wonder if Noah as been eating KP's rebounds? Or is it a coincidence that he racks up 11 in his absence.

We can do better than 8th seed imo. Let's see if they continue to show progress.

Definitely not a coincidence. When he plays with Noah he stays behind the 3 point line on both sides of the floor. Makes it harder to get boards

We haven't been over .500 in like 3 years. Be realistic about what we are.

Just read that noah back out of the game at the very last second because of a flu.

I don't know man, I'm getting a Tyson Chandler vibe on him. And I kinda wish Noah will do good on the team but what I see on the court... man

Our bench is going to play a huge part on our success, the starters can't do everything by themselves.

we could go as high as 4th or5th seed with our bench performing but that's highly unlikely.

I would be fine with 7th or with a little luck 6th

We'll need Noah down the line, especially if we make the playoffs. He might not need to play as many minutes though if KOQ and Willy keep showing up likey they did today. With the three of them plus KP, We might have the luxury of being able to shuffle as many as four players for 48 minutes at the center position each night.

If anything, the Knicks can adjust Noah's training regimen in the offseason now that he's under their watch. I want to believe that there is a way to rejuvenate Noah.

I don't know if it's that KP is so tall, but on my screen, Willy doesn't look much bigger than a guy like Scola.

It would be nice to see Anthony feed the post every once in a while. I know he made his shots today but man he just refuses to give up that ball even when a guy like Hernangomez has great post position he just refuses to feed it to him. I wish Melo would play more like he did under Fisher where he looked to pass the ball often and was feeding Lopez and looking for shooters. I also don't like those 1 on 3 attempts in the paint. He has KP wide open in the corner but he wants to get his in the paint, lucky for him the refs bailed him out this time. I know he we need his scoring and I'm not saying he shouldn't take advantage of his opportunities to score but sometimes he just forces it too much.

Our late game execution is still not where it should be. We still love keeping teams in the game because of bad execution and bad shot selection in crunch time.

Not expecting them to have better than a 8th seed. Just saying they could be better than IF they want to.

Melo was the star, this was his game, he showed that he wasn't quite ready to hand over the keys to the Knicks just yet.
Courtney Lee had one of the more underrated games today. I think he was a difference maker.
Rose was alright. Once he learns how to finish, he'll be dangerous.
Great job by Oquin/gomez/Plumlee in at least annoying the **** out of Howard.
The rook had a quite game but he hit some timely shots and had a nice double double.

Very good win.

I honestly only caught highlights, but I was impressed. The NBA is a funny sport sometimes. Billy can come right out the gate and show a measure of toughness that refs respect. fast leaner. Pissed off Dwight.
