GT: Mavericks vs. Spurs

No offense to the Mav's but this should be an easy one for us. The Mav's have been decimated by injuries so far this year.

The last 10 days or so have made me feel a lot better about the Spurs and trap games, so I agree that this should be a wrap for us. Tough times for Mavs fans, but it really makes me appreciate how fortunate we've been to see so many franchises go up and down over the years while we field a contender every single season for two decades now.

The only player we really have to worry about tonight is Barnes. He's looked really good so far as a Mav but not good enough to take us down by himself.

Getting a win is always great, but they made us sweat. We need an injection of depth and versatility, and I'm not sure how we're supposed to go about getting it.

It's going to take sacrificing someone like Mills or Green in a package and tbh, I'm ok with that if it lands us something worthwhile.

Who knows, maybe the Aldridge Hail Mary isn't as laughable as we first thought?

I know it's a long season but no matter how much we start to gel and improve we can honestly say we don't have what it takes to beat some of these top teams in a 7 game series.

We definitely played down to the Mavs talent level. I'm quite happy that Pop's trying to accelerate some of these young guys' growth. Hopefully we learn from and get more games like this.

It was good to see Murray and Bertans in the starting five but Pop's nailed it with his assessment of our performance. Pathetic, we played down to their level not at our level which should be the level of one the best teams in the league.
