Every draft there's a 'new Wade' I swear literally EVERY DRAFT since 07.

Rodney Stuckey
Westbrook/Rose
Bledsoe
Wall
I'man Shumpert
Dion Waiters
Oladipo
Marcus Smart
Mudiay
:nonono:

Only West brook has come close to the comparisons. They need to just say next shumpert or Stuckey and put more respek on Wade's name

So Pat was in the house to see Lonzo light it up? :o
You know he liked what he saw. He dreams about long point guards who can run the show like that.

I have a hot take after watching several games this weekend. De'Aaron Fox should be higher than Smith Jr on the mocks. Smith looks small, like Napier length, while Fox is built like TJ with longer arms. I saw Smith get blown by a couple times and opponents shoot over him with ease, while Fox was pressing full court and was sooooo active. In Fox I see Elfrid Payton with a jump shot. While Smith does show flashes and could be a star, he's not looking good right now against inferior competition, but he's picking it up in the last couple games, so he has time to change my mind.

Evidence if you want to watch some games. I recommend using the forward arrow keys, which helps me breeze through these games in less than 30 minutes:

A lot of folks jump on a highlight video as soon as they see it, and fall in love with a prospect. That damn DSJ video that keeps on getting posting epitomizes this. Kid has played a handful of games in the past two years and people have him as the top prospect without the games to back it up. I like DSJ's potential a lot, but if I'm picking number three this year, I'm looking at all my options.

Josh Jackson isn't that bad of a free throw shooter, but he's barely managing 30% this year. He just missed two in a row.

I want to see Ball operate in the half court, most his highlights seem to be fast paced

I watch a game of Smith. It appears his game maturity is further behind than some of the top five players. Lets see how the year develops.

Even in some games that JJ doesn't have an awesome stat line, his talent level just stands out.. I think it's clear by June, JJ and Fultz are the top 2

I mentioned that after one of the games I posted last week (the duke game I think, where he went 0 for 4). In that game it looked like there was no concentration at all, he just tossed it up nonchalantly.

As far as Ball in the halfcourt, he seems fine to me. That's where he gets his three point shots in (and he's shooting a good percentage so far, which leads me to believe he might be one of these Kevin Martin types that can shoot with unorthodox form). You'll also see him breaking his man down with amazing handles and getting into the lane like at the end of the first half of the last game where he got to the foul line. When I watch a full game, I'm super impressed, and he's fun to watch like White Chocolate. He's got more skill than Rubio, maybe not Jason Kidd, but I think he's going to be a solid PG at least.

Skip to :50 to see Ball asked about the Godfather's presence at his game. He's got that pokerface, trying not to blush:

Still haven't been able to see a full Fultz game

Looks like draft is what we will look for, when we are losing to sixers and wizards out of all.

That hammer at the end with a forearm to his face was nice.

Another thing that just came to me today was how much weight JJ has put on. He really beefed up after high school. I'd say 20 pounds or so. He was very skinny.

Like Bishop says, "he muhsta ben eatin' that pork 'pa'"

Fultz and Jackson are better prospects than him, but Lonzo Ball is my favorite one to watch so far.
