It's more hilarious to claim that Noel and Saric aren't talented young NBA players.

You keep fighting for your initial one-sided argument about Hinkie and the Sixers and have still failed to present a single good counter argument. You just toss out these throwaway statements and try to pass them off as facts.

In the context of putting them in the same group as Embiid, Simmons, and Okafor ,which you obviously would know is the context I am referring to if you would ever read, they are clearly not at the same level. They are a lot closer to the type of talent the sixers had when Hinkie took over.

Please try reading before you respond to another one of my posts. Explaining very simple things to you is tiresome.

Noel was better than Okafor last year, so it might be tiring for you to keep explaining how Noel is closer to Hawes and Arnette Moultrie than he is to Okafor, but a lot of us will need a lot more explaining to see things the way you do.

Lmao better than Okafor last year? We are talking about the same Nerlens Noel right?

Based upon how you are talking about the players in question, I'm definitely not sure you are talking about the same players at all.

You are clearly trolling if you think Nerlens outplayed Okafor last year.

Nerlens was good last year. Maybe you could explain why Okafor was better.

That or I paid attention to the team. And who got sat in crunch time in close games. And who had the better metrics.

You haven't spent any time near the Sixers board, and I must say I think we all are thankful over there. But if someone (else) wants to stop by and ask that as a serious question, they are welcome to.They will find that the board is somewhat (aggressively!) split between Noel and Okafor for keeping long term. But even those who hope Okafor becomes more than Noel (eventually) aren't actually deluded enough to say Okafor was better last year.

Noel will become Tyson Chandler with less size, Okafor is going to be Cousins with less rebounding and Embiid is going to be Shaq with 3 point range and 80% free throw shooting.
Or Greg Oden, but I really hope not.

In 23 minutes
22 points (7-13, 1-2 from 3, 7-9 ft)
5 rebounds
3 blocks, 1 steal
Only 1 turnover

Sixers' W.

It was cold when he was looking at Whiteside while flexing.

This would be like explaining why Lebron James is better than Tobias Harris. It really isnt necessary and only a very obvious troll would try to argue against it.

What a convincing argument

Total freak. Doesn't play in 2.5 years and still one of the best bigs in the league from day 1, and getting better every game. Upside is indescribably high. Hopefully injuries don't deprive us of a special career.

Embiid per 36 stats update:

30.0 PPG, 11.9 RPG, 3.7 BPG

HIs PPG calculates to 29.97 PPG, so yeah, that rounds up to basically an even 30 PPG.
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:

Just stop. You're a non-sixers fan trying to tell 76ers fans that watch games, that Okafor was better. He wasn't. The eyes prove that. The stats prove that.

You also can't speak for all the sixer fans. I actually thought Jahlil overall had a better season. Noel was disappointing IMO because he didn't improve. Okafor was a rookie and I was expecting some struggles.

It's pretty much unanimous on our board. Noel hasn't improved. I agree. But he was still a more productive player on the court than Okafor. Just because Okafor was a rookie, and struggles were expected, doesn't change what was happening on the court. We're not debating potential, we're debating what actually happened.
