Fox is the one guy I want to step up and make it difficult. He also isn't good shooter which I don't like but he's pretty quick and can get to spots. That already is better than anything we have. Fox doesn't seem like an ideal fit but I'd definitely take him if he's the best remaining and we are picking 4 or later.

I'm just wondering if he can become a good shooter. I'm tired of players who can't shoot. We already have Ben Simmons. I don't want another one. If he can defend well that's good. I just am curious how much better he will get. He's 20 and older than most freshmen by a year. Shooting does seem to be his only serious flaw. He can create his own shot. He can defend. He has an attitude to want to dominate. I like him a lot. I am just hesitant on thinking he will become a good shooter.
The Sixers still have a lot of needs, but one of them are athletes that can run with Simmons. He is going to grab boards and start the break a bunch, and currently we don't have guys that fly up and down the court. Nor do we have wings or guards that are going receive lobs from Simmons.
In order to take full advantage of Ben Simmons, we are going to need guys that do those things.
I think Jackson is the most exciting player in the draft in those categories.
We also need perimeter defenders, and he might be terrific at that too. So he helps to solve a few pretty big needs outside of the need for shooting.
Of course it would be nice to have someone that could do everything, but I don't see that guy yet.

So, is Josh Jackson much different as a player than MKG ?
Basing on everything I read about him.
And isn't he a bad fit if he can 't shoot?

I think he's a better shooter than MKG right now. His shot isn't busted, he just lacks consistency. He's a psycho competitor like MKG and I would say a "smarter" player than MKG.

The thought of Simmons and Ball running in transition with Embiid is simply frightening.
He see's the floor so well (Ball) and plays with tempo as good as nearly anyone in college basketball....If his Kevin Martin like shot can be a consistent weapon, he'd be a hell of a fit with Simmons/Embiid.

sixers are going to be monsters when they get two players out of the top 5 and sign some quality free agents

Nasty.
He's still my number one choice so far, but Ball would be nice too.
I still have seen so little of them, but they are as exciting as hell.

Would be happy if we can get at least one of Jackson, Fultz, Ball, or Smith. I think there is a good chance.. Also with the laker pick we can possibly add another solid young piece. Super excited for the seasons to come.

The Hawk has to flap his wings at all times....literally gets a scholarship to do it.

Don't sleep on Tatum. He could be a great fit with Simmons.

I haven't been thinking much about Tatum or Giles yet simply because they haven't started playing. I think that Ball should definitely be thought of as part of the top 6 though now(Tatum, Giles, Smith, Jackson, Fultz, Ball), and that is a hell of a top 6, in whatever order we put them in.
