Okafor in his limited minutes is showing that he can score on anyone down low.

He'd be a great fit on a team like the Knicks. Shame that the Knicks wasted their money on Noah though.

Why is Okafor still missing here? He's played more minutes than guys like Tyus Jones. His PER is around 17 now (though PER is stupid, of course).

Yeah, PER is stupid when it doesn't fit your narrative. I remember you arguing with me that Mirotic deserved ROY due to his better advanced stats. PER included. By the way, how's your boy doing now?

While everyone been talking Embiid vs Towns at times it seems KP is the one that can compete with Embiid size and skill the most.

Yup and has shown pretty big improvements on the defensive end since last year. Okafor on defense this time last year compared to Okafor on defense this year is a pretty big difference (granted you couldnt be much lower than he was last year on D). Hes become a pretty legit rim defender, PnR defense is improved but still needs a lot more improvement. If that continues he is going to be an all star with how easy he puts up points.

Choker wrote:This is already well known but jeez, Porzingis is a stud. It's not legal to be 7'3 and to move like that. Before he pulled out I wanted him so bad in the 2014 draft with our 20th pick, but then again knowing our organization, we'd just make him fat and play him at center instead of embracing his mobility.

He wouldn't have made it that far had he stayed in.

Teams like OKC, DEN, ORL, etc were all praying for him to stay in so they could've had a shot at him.

Once the Magic got the 5th pick on 2015, they all but gave up hope in getting him (hence the Super Mario pick).

Tough night for Porzingis tonight. He and the rest of the Knicks have that hangdog-back-to-back low energy thing going on in this game against the Wiz.

Unless KP has a big 4th, this looks like a letdown game.
Jokic 31/21/22
Luka & Oscar = 5 x 27/8/8
The Brodie = All-out energy

I said it a couple of times during the game, but tonight was the first time we've seen rookie KAT this season. I'm not even talking about the dunks, this was before that.

Yeah, that was quite a game by Towns. I didn't like it, but I did.

Towns was impressive. Tough to defend with that quick release and accuracy from perimeter. Close out on it and he can drive like a wing.

Per 16.6, but plays 19.3 mins per game.

Kristaps Porzingis

Post#240 » by NYKHardKnock » Wed Nov 23, 2016 3:06 am

Averaging 21 and 7. Could it be argued that he deserves to be on the all star team? He looks like a complete superstar thus far scoring 20 almost every single night. Kristaps could be the most unique player the league has ever had with his size and mobility. He's becoming absolutely ungardable.
