You know very well you are mentioning Saric and Noel as assets while saying that when Hinkie got the sixers they had no assets other than Jrue Holiday. This very obviously isnt true if you are willing to think so highly of players the level of Saric and Noel.

Hawes peaked at age 25 in Philly as a 13/8/3/1 guy on bad teams. He showed almost no improvement in his first four seasons. Then he had two decent seasons back to back and was traded for two 2nd round picks at his peak value (the first time he was traded at age 22 it was for 30ish year old Samuel Dalembert). Noel and Saric would both easily net more value in a trade.

Given Embiid's health issues, I think KAT has more value right now, but if he stays healthy, Embiid projects to have more impact, IMO.

Yes, Embiid has more potential. He's on another level as a rim protector and has everything Towns has on the offensive end.
Towns is very good, but his impact on winning games in Minnesota has been close to zero until now. Minnesota and Philadelphia have the same number of wins, but Embiid has a far worse supporting cast and plays less minutes per game due to the restriction. And he doesn't have Thibs as a coach.
Embiid should really really really limit his turnovers, but then sky is the limit.
