Looks like Cousins may go for 50. Usually an inefficient scorer, he's already scored 10 points on 4/5 FG and 2/2 from three.

He hasn't been inefficient this season. Really he's not actually been inefficient for a while.

“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

His TS% the last three seasons, including this one: 54.5%, 53.8%, 56.5%. This year he's shooting 45.7% on twos, 32.7% from three, and 77.2% from the FT line. He's kinda borderline efficient. I just never think of anything under 58%-60% as "efficient" when it comes to TS%.

Played 'em even through the first quarter. Wheels starting to fall off in the second.

Typical Thunder game. Take a 10+ point deficit at some point in the first half, scrap back to get within a few points by the half, then come out and do nothing with that momentum in the second half and fall further behind in the second quarter.

Take the Kings 13 point second quarter lead, cut it to three by half.

Here we are, two minutes left in the third quarter, and we're down by 14. We suck.

Cousins throws up a one-legged fader from 17 feet Dirk style, and nails it to beat the 3rd quarter buzzer. Down 12. Ballgame.

We suck so bad.

From 6-1 to 8-8. And we don't have another 6-1 stretch in the foreseeable future. This team is not even a .500 team. We're a bottom 5 team in the West and a bottom 10 overall.

Ugly.

The whole composition of the roster depends upon Oladipo being a consistent second option, and he isn't close to it.

Yeah, at some point I'll switch to "scouting lottery caliber prospects" mode. Right now, I'm still in denial mode of just how terrible we are because I never imagined we'd be this awful after Durant left. I knew there'd be a drop-off, I just didn't expect it to be to "bottom 5-10 team in the league" bad.

Why would Gay even want to be traded here? His current team is miles better than ours. Much more talent 1-whatever than what we have.

Hm.. Yeah things don't look so good. But I still think the thunder is surely a playoff team, if only because there aren't many teams that can jump them. They can still win the division as weird as that sounds. Also assuming Presti becomes aggressively active at some point. Rudy Gay doesn't look bad which bodes well considering thats probably the move that gets made. I'm still holding out hope another (younger) SF becomes availiable (Barnes, George, Porter), but Rudy isn't a bad option. One thing is for sure, after this season........ Presti better not extend Roberson a qualifying offer. Let him go... it didn't work. :noway:
He can draft a rookie thats better than him.
