Second time all season we gave up less than 100. Last time it was 96. Thanks!

It's a really weird feeling to not completely hate the Lakers. I guess I just hated Kobe. I feel bad but I actually like the team they have right now. I'll show myself out.

I don't want to pull that card, but... how long have you been a Suns fan? I question anyone that doesn't loathe the Lakers 100% no matter who plays for or coaches them.

When Nash came over. I'm from Connecticut. I have no affiliations but I've stuck with the Suns because I love disappointment and self-loathing.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to call myself a fan of the Lakers, but their players now aren't completely hatable.

92 points, 45% shooting, and 17 turnovers typically won't cut it.

Tonight it did. We got lucky.

I'll take the win.

The damage has already been done grumpy. You uttered the 'L' word in a positive and non-derogatory fashion. You have broken that most sacred compendium of knowledge that ties us Suns fans together - the 'we shall forever hate the Lakers' code.

It's time to leave and never return. Take with you your unbiased, mature, and levelheaded thoughts about the unmentionables over on the West coast... these opinions are not welcome around these here parts of the internet.

I don't loathe them, never have. I don't like them anymore or less than I do the rest of the league. I disliked Kobe so I hated the Lakers during his stretch but that's it. And I became a fan of the Suns the day our franchise was first announced. I remember J Walter Kennedy (NBA commissioner) saying he'd never support the idea of a team in the desert, said that Phoenix was too hot, too small and too far away. Jerk. But the Lakers, I can take or leave them. I like Luke Walton and I wanted Randle but I don't like Russell or Swaggy so I avoid watching them but they matter little to me one way or the other.

I think that's probably why. First off, I was already an NBA fan prior to the Suns being created. Back then we got so little live TV that I learned to appreciate each game. Once the Suns came into being I became an instant Suns fan but this was also long before the various realignments designed to create fierce rivalries. You became a Suns fan in this rivalry era. But I do know some long time Suns fans that feel just as you do, I just think it's less likely for fans from my generation.

I'm not a fan of the Lakers, but I don't really hate them right now. I hated when they got Shaq just because he wanted to be LA, and hated them being gifted Gasol, and never liked Kobe. If they get gifted another superstar somehow I will hate them again...if they build a team through the draft it won't bother me.

Spurs I have always loathed, though not quite as much any more as they have become respectable, and the Rockets to us in the mid 90s were like the Spurs in the mid 00s...those were my worst times.

I don't really usually hate teams. Used to never like the Knicks, but I liked D'Antoni and Hornacek, so I pull for those guys.

Right now it's GS because Durant...who used to be one of my favorite non Suns.

I hate Lakers fans thinking that every player in the world dreams of playing for Lakers and will sign witch them once they will hit free agency. Sorry Durant, Lakers prefer Deng and Mozgov over you, go somewhere else

Good call on all fronts! To me, the Spurs, Rockets, and Lakers are probably my 3 most 'disliked' teams, and it stems mostly from the early-to-late 90's era time frame....ugh...

Don't get me wrong; I respected a lot of the players, but the 'teams' collectively really annoyed me.

I hate the lakers due to the special treatment they get. That push to make the playoffs with nash, howard, the kings series, the portland series and the list goes on. Even the freakin celtics were treated unfairly against them.

I guess I should say I like the roster they have and the coach. If they were on a different franchise it would be better.

Yeah. I was taking a break from the NBA around 94 through 04. Before that I was a Knicks fan because Ewing and Starks and the proximity to CT.

Lakers are a lot less likable without Kobe.
