well hello Josh Jackson

goddamn this is the guy we desperately need at the wing position. shot creator, shot maker, and his athleticism is just off the charts. not a bad playmaker either

My early favorites are indeed Markelle Fultz and Josh Jackson. My good friend and former college teammate keeps telling me that Tatum is better than both. Unless its a serious offer I wouldnt make deal till the draft to know exactly who we are gonna pick. A lot more raw but Jonathan Isaac will be also a big pick up in the draft.

I know everyone is looking at Dragic to be traded, I do not think its a for sure thing. I still think Dragic is valuable enough to get a vet and a mid round draft (15 area) pick for him. But there is no NEED to trade Dragic. Lets say the Heat draft Jonathan Isaac, he will fit right in the PF position. That would give the Heat Dragic, Josh, Justise, Isaac and Whiteside, plus cap room and time to fill the roster with respectable veterans.

Still waiting to catch a full game of Isaac's, but these highlights will help pass the time:

In 25 minutes: 14 pts (7 of 10 from 2, 0 for 2 from 3), 10 reb, 2 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk, 1 tov

Isaac has some serious length for a 6'10 player, very Lamar Odom like. An Whiteside, Isaac and Winslow from court would be very interesting.

Kentucky on now.

Duke on at 7. Lots of prospects to keep an eye on.

That video is nuts! Look at how many skills he shows off in that video. He really has a knack for what he should do at the right moment. First play, he takes the jumper over the midget guarding him. Later in the video he picks the big man so he can't get down the floor, and passes ahead for the basket. Several plays he gets to where he wants, then makes a play whether its a jumper in the gap, or a well timed pass to a teammate. He's a beautiful player to watch. So skilled.

So my TOP 7 so far (in no order)

Fultz
JJ
DSJ
Tatum
Giles
Ball
Isaac

As a Heat fan I would be happy with any of those 7. Then the list drops off a bit IMO

OG (if he truly has a 7'6 wingspan, I might put him on that 1st list)
Nkilitina
Markkanen
Bolden
Monk
Frank Jackson
Bridges

I am not typically a fan of Euro prospects.

My personal list at the moment is listed in your quote, with players ranked due to preference.

I have not seen no where enough to say i am certain about them but at the moment i have Ball at 3rd over Fox, & DSJ. Whats getting on my nerves are that i haven't seen Tatums, & Giles, cause they could jump into one of the top 3.

Why do people ask for others opinion on the general board only to attack them for it? :noway:

Smith is picking it up. Watched 2 more games. Against Creighton he was absolute dog chit defensively. He got burned on the first two possessions and got bailed out on the 3rd by the Center. But Against St. Joe's he made several encouraging plays defensively and I wouldn't be surprised if a few of them end up on the draftexpress Strengths video when they lie to you and tell you Defensive Potential. In both games he showed his outside shot, his ability to create shots for himself and get to the line. Steve Francis is the best player comp I've seen someone mention.

Return to Miami Heat
