Thats cause Dragic is only shooting 13.4 shots per game, while Dion, & Winslow are shooting 14.1/14.2- while shooting in the mid 30'%.
They both need to shoot less, & let Dragic, & Whiteside shoot more.

Dragic is shooting 13-14 shots-per-game because of his inability to break down a set defense consistently. The ability to create halfcourt shots is a skill itself. It takes more planning & skill than scoring fastbreak points. Not to confuse this with actually finishing at the rim or shooting.

I dont think you understand what i am saying. I am saying that with Dion playing with him is like when Wade played with him. He wont be as aggressive out of respect/personality. All you have to do is watch the game when its crunch time. Dion starts to handle the ball more while Dragic becomes a secondary player. Its about Dion having the killer instincts while Dragics balls start to shrivel up his cohones.

Honestly Dragic doesn't really like to force shots. He only takes them when he feels he can finish. That's why even in his All NBA third team season he only averaged just over 14 shots ( but was more efficient as he is so far this season ).

Now do I wish he was more aggressive and take some shots that Dion does? Yes.
Do I wan't him to turn into Dion and take a bad shot every time he feels like it, with low %? No.

I do believe Dragic will get his 2% up as the season goes along ( his mid-range isn't clicking right now ) to somewhere above 45-46%, and his production will be closer to 20&8 than it is now even with Dion in the line-up. ( If that happens with the Heat or on another team, remains to be seen if rumors are to be believed )

If Dragic had better shooters around him, i believe his states would improve.

So if your a shooter you want more shooters, not a drive & kick man, or someone down low drawing the double team & kicking out for the open shoot?

Dragics game is built on driving to the hole & kicking out to an open man.

Never said that every player on the floor should be a shooter. But shooter can benefit from spacing by getting more open looks

I agree & thats what Dragic is best at. much better then cutters, & even worse feeding the big man down low. He is best at setting up the 3 point shot.

If Dragic had four all worldies around him he'd look good and have reasonable assists.

Dragic is not PG. It is clear that this team needs a PG.

I disagree. They would tune him out cause he would be the least officiant player on that starting lineup. He will be the new waterboy.

True.

Then again he's not much more than a water boy when the going gets tough in the 4th quarter and he's alongside a couple of journeymen and a couple of youngsters.

Thats why they are all available for the right price. The only one that would be a starter on a championship team right now is Whiteside.

For Dragic no. But does anyone think we could trade Ellington, McBob, and D Williams for an Injured Rudy Gay. Hear me out. We can open up two roster spots for Weber and maybe Benson. It gives Sacramento the chance to get Ellington and Williams who are healthy and can help them make a run at the playoffs. It also eliminates Rudy from opting in for Sacramento. They do take on McBob and have the chance of picking up Ellington option which might turn out to be a great bargain under the current cap. For us, we get Rudy's bird rights for this offseason and if he does opt in it gives us a stretch 4 for less than we can find one in the open market.
