Just wondering if you guys are really looking to blow it up, would you take the below?

Kings - Wall, Singler
Wiz - Kanter, Roberson, D.Collison, Papagiannis, okc 1st rnd, Kings future 1st
OKC - Gay, Gortat

Partners thr 2 wildcat teammates again, OKC. Get there guy in Rudy and helps you guys start your rebuild. You get a young inside scorer while getting rid of an ageing C, Papagiannis was our 1st pick this year and a project C, Darren Collison is a reliable, quick scoring PG and is a FA after this season as is Andre Roberson who is a lockdown wing who was a Scotty Brooks favourite

There is zero chance that Wall gets traded right after acquiring a new coach.

The only conceivable trade scenario would be one involving one of Gortat/Mahinmi for a younger player or pick. Fans tend to overreact. If there's a trade, it will be a "reboot", not a complete tear-down and rebuild. Obviously, nobody is untouchable, so various other young-for-young type of transactions would be considered (i.e. Beal + picks for Cousins). But there will be no significant change in direction for the franchise.

Soo.. the Wiz can't get a better return for Wall than four bench players and two mediocre picks??

No, I think to trade Wall in his prime with years left on his deal, you need a better pick package and both teams would have to toss us better young players and take jason smith. I just don't see it working out, Honestly kings fan, I would be more likely the Wiz offering your team a first and Beal for Boogie, going down than wall to the kings trade, too many teams that would want wall have more to give for him and unlike with boogie he does not have an over all attitude problem to stop big offers from coming in.

I mean trading beal for boogie, and gortat/mahinmi for a couple of bench guys and beals replacement would potentially make us better right? Cuz beal for boogie is a lateral move, because our bench is still the main issue. I mean hell when mahinmi comes back we are going to be a hell of a lot better.

Why would the Wizards offer up Beal and a 1st at a time when Beal seems to have finally hit his stride for a walking time bomb? Cousins really doesn't offer that much outside of his numbers.

Hard to win a championship with 2 guards being your best players (Toronto, Portland), especially when Beal is naturally susceptible to injuries. A dominate big at least raises the ceiling for the team.

Sorry, missed this. The good news is that yes it is close. Gortat is better but Favors is very good as well.

Yeah that seems like a poor return for Wall especially.

I wonder if there is something around:

Kings: Kanter + assets(from Wizards)
Wiz: Cousins + filler
OKC: Gortat

If the assets are Beal or Porter - I think the filler players are useful players. Protected picks would likely mean junk contracts.

If the Wizards trade Wall or Beal right now it would be a complete reset...and tell me exactly why we would go from Arenas to Wall/Beal to ....Favors or someone like him...we would immediatly be a team without an identity. Like it or not, Wall and Beal make up the nuclus of at least a reasonably exciting backcourt - not perfect - not amazing - but respectable- Otto is..making progress- gortat is past his prime (would make a good backup) and our POWERforward is not POWERFUL On the boards but is Ok...the GM should lose his job for this PISS POOR BENCH. If nothing else...give us 3-5 players that can play ball at the NBA level. KO is starting to scare the hell out of me with these performances... i know he is young but its starting to look like he isnt even going to be Darius Miles
