Just make him spin back left where that slow, awkward release is easy to block, as we have seen several times this year. Right now MKGs only post move that has worked is that one in the clip from Lowe where he bangs his way into the paint going right and then puts up a half hook, half push shot from about 5-7 feet away. Honestly, I could live with that if I was a defender, but it still be better to try and overplay that right hand.

Good analysis. I will look for that tonight. San Antonio will push all the right strategic buttons, I have no doubt.

Is MKG untouchable? What kind of trade offer would it take to pry him away? I'd think hard about killing a team in a trade of him if it's on the table. If we could get a comparable defender and fill other weaknesses by trading him I'd think about it. Batum and Kemba carrying the offensive load just isn't likely to be enough firepower in the playoffs.

Klay Thompson?
Jahill Okafor?

Nope, nope. I don't even think we could pry Klay with MKG and I don't want Okafor.

I think he's untouchable for us. He's still figuring out his role and building his confidence, he's missed a ton of time in some significant developmental periods. Not even interested in talking about moving him this season.

MKG's value for me is more than the bottom line. I just plain enjoy watching good defenders go after somebody.

My goodness, this team is cursed. Does anyone know what the implications of this are?

Wait for an official statement ?

Subluxations are pretty common for athletes, male of female. It's not minor if it happens often but it can be fixed through surgery. Of course, it concerns MKG, but i don't see any reason to over react to what seems to be a simple rumor (anyway he wears shoulder protections now).

Moreover, he's not even listed as GameTime decision on the NBA injury list.

If you could trade MKG today for a legit secondary wing scorer who could average 20ppg next to Kemba, would you do it?

Straight up trade, one for one, no additional players or picks.

Probably no, but what's the age and contract status of said player?

Mid 20's.

Same sort of contract.

I know MKG'S offense is still nothing to write home about, but he has scored double figures in 9/10 games.

The one game he did not score at least 10 he had 9.

He also has had 4 double doubles in the last 10 games

MKG last 10 Games:
11.5 PPG
6.8 RPG
52% FGP

Definitely would. There aren't many wings that score 20+ ppg. Below is a list of wings that have averaged at least 18ppg in the last couple of years including this season. I've broken it down by who I would trade MKG for straight up.

In a Second

James Harden
Kevin Durant
Kawhi Leonard
Lebron James
Paul George
Giannis
Gordon Hayward
Jimmy Butler
Andrew Wiggins
Klay Thompson
Devin Booker

Probably would
CJ McCollum
Zach Lavine

Probably Not
Demar Derozan
Bradley Beal

Would Not
Carmelo Anthony
Rudy Gay
Brandon Knight
Dwayne Wade

What about Lamb? Could he fit that bill? The age is right. The contract even better.

Given the playing time and touches could Lamb push 18+ppg?

Trade MKG for a 2017 1st round pick (which is looking like a stacked draft).

We have MKG on a good contract as well when you consider if he played for another team he might be up for the max like Otto Porter is being considered. I definitely wouldn't trade MKG for a draft pick but I do believe that we need to give Lamb more minutes. Lamb should be playing 25 minutes a night for us since we struggle scoring, especially individually.
