Easy there buddy. We are talking about a young sometimes immature man here. What is Embiid, 21,22. No other 21 or 22 year old has ever let their emotions get the better of them and do something stupid right!

Just a little information for you. The body grows a lot more quickly than the brain. Even if Embiid looks like a grown man. His brain (like all people his age) still has some maturing to do. So he will be prone to emotional outbursts and throwing the occasional temper tantrum, and making stupid decisions, it's what kids do at that age. It's biological it's science.

Is he a malcontent? Is he a disruptive force on the team? Are you just fishing with no real basis for your statement.

No, no and Yes.

You could make the argument that he's showing some fire and heart and a desire to win.

He kicked the chairs hard aiming at two personnel guys. That's borderline assault imo. I'm surprised he's not suspended or reprimanded yet.
If you want back in go talk to the coach, do what rookie CP3 used to do to Byron Scott. You don't try to scare or hurt the two personnel guys twice your age. That's disrespectful and careless

His minutes (and Okafor's) will most likely increase after the Christmas break and into the new year. Which is around the time Ben Simmons should slowly come back.

They said that they are going to re-evaluate things around Christmas. He is already exceeding my expectations in terms of minutes. I'm thrilled with the 24 minutes that we are getting so early in the season.

They have generally been increasing his minutes in 4 minute chunks so if they increase it to 28 minutes at Christmas that would be enough minutes to reconfigure how he plays them, and give him a more typical minutes pattern.

Currently, he is going in and out so many times that he struggles to get into a rhythm.

He could probably stay at 28 for the rest of the season. His foul problems will limit his minutes even if they completely removed the restrictions.

I just want him to be at full strength by next season. Let this season be about getting him acclimated to the league, and establishing his health.

Is it just me or does he land on his feet really hard at times? It's almost as if he's landing and stomping his feet on the ground. Maybe it just seems like that cuz he's a big ass dude but he needs to learn how to land and fall with grace. Maybe take some sort of grappling class or something lol.

We know embiid touched his first basket ball in 2011. What do you think he'd play like if he started when he was about 5, like it's normal to be? I guess a lot of you guys are going to say it would be pretty much the same, but I don't think so. This guy started playing 5 years ago, he was a top draft prospect like in 2 hours or something, he got in the nba after 3 years, now after 2 years out he put up 18/8 on 50% playing 23 minutes, and he is a great defender. It's incredible. If he played 10 years more, what would he be?

It doesn't seem like childhood experience matters that much. Hakeem is one of the most skilled big guys in nba history and he didn't start playing until he was 15. Tim Duncan started at around the same age. It could arguably be better to wait until you're a little older and have access to proper coaching, so that you don't develop bad habits.

He'd be a product of AAU. In other words, he'd be worse.

That's what makes guys like Shaq and Wilt so rare. Big heavy guys who had good control over their bodies and movements. A lot of the real big NBA guys lack that and it arguably affects their durability.

no where near a Cousins' situation..... it wasn't because we were losing, or lost... he's experienced losses playing already... it's because he felt helpless wanting to be out there on the court with his teammates, contributing/fighting alongside them, but couldn't.. he was frustrated because of this, he's super competitive... he stated as much post game, also stating that he understood why he was pulled, & knows that the coaching staff & front office are looking out for him & his long term health.

Is it just me or does Embiid seem overrated and actually sucks some major bollocks. The guy seems like a black hole stat padder on a losing team and would probably foul out if he played 30+ minutes a game. He has some nice looking moves in the post but so do al jefferson and jahlil okafor.

the temper tantrum he threw on the sidelines is just the nail in the coffin for that guy's potential imo. I don't understand sixer fans trying to justify that inexcusable crybaby nonsense.

imagine if the sixers had Noel-Porzingis-Ingram...wow
