CJackson wrote:Even though I find myself cussing at Rose during the game I can say two good things about him:
1) His defense has been a surprise. It makes up for some of his boneheadedness
2) That bitch is pretty clutch
Rose is odd. He's like an idiot savant with the late-game clutch baskets

Too many stupid fouls out there - but luckily Charlotte couldn't convert enough of their FTs.
This game is why you need multiple elite players. If one guy isn't on that night, the other guy picks him up. That's why this is a team game.
If someone could only teach Jennings how to shoot.
Jennings will never be a good shooter and Rose is not a good shooter at all. Rose is good at getting at the rim.
They were both good enough tonight. Rose would greatly benefit from a shooting coach. His shots are mostly in line, but they lack arc....fully correctable IMO

when he's right, he's no worse than KO'Q... I think at at Noahs worst he's kyles equivalent
Please read what you just wrote. 72 million dollars should not make you equlivant to KYLE.. Also kyle is better. He rebounds the same blocks more and oh wait actually can shoot. He also passes just as well as noah. BOOM
There's another reason why Noah can't really be played that much, especially in important games. You'll see this when sh*t actually counts.
Hack-A-Noah.
He's shooting .316 from the FT line.
I mean hey we have two cheerleaders with noah and lance for four years lol

Phil playing that Moneyball.
Indeed. When evaluating the work done this past summer, a lot of people (particularly some visiting mods that are welcome to repent) looked at the top end of the deals this summer and completely overlooked the complementary pieces. That was a mistake on their part.
I hope we continue to bring in guys from the ACB league. it's basically become our farm system.

Re: Hornets PG Thread: Melo With The Game-Winner!
Courtney Lee needs to get out of his funk quick
His shooting has been ass and his defense was awful tonight. Got torched by Bellineli and he keeps throwing up bricks. He gets so many open looks and momentum changing shots that he just keeps bricking. We need this guy to hit those shots when we look to take the life out of the other team but his bricks usually do the opposite and bring life back to the other team.

Separatista wrote:Noah has some pros and cons. When the defense was stagnant in the 2nd q, noah revitalize the interior d.
Problem is, nobody is guarding him on offense. When he sets a pick, the one who guards noah doubles on the ball handler. There was a couple of successful rolls by noah but its a risky pass.
I wish success on Noah, i really do but to me his role on the lineup is situational
I totally agree. I think Noah is still critical to the team's success. But his role is situational for sure. I think he is key in practice and in huddle.
