As i already mentioned, Porzingis struggled during the 1st 3 quarters with foul trouble but became an absolute monster during the 4th Q. His blocked shots were posterizing. His corner 3 in overtime down 1 to put us up 2 was clutch.

Porzingis grew up tonight.

I made a post about it earlier in the Around the NBA thread. I essentially said how I hate seeing so many timeouts late in a close game. Its a damn stoppage every few seconds, not to mention the replays which is another timeout.

That flow to end the 4th qtr was great to see as just as a fan of the game. Both teams throwing haymakers, neither coaches were panicking or calling timeout and had confidence their teams could execute.

Please NBA, cut down on the timeout each teams receive at the end of a game. It was exhilarating to see and my heart was pumping.

1TO/qtr for each team. That would be a blessing

The GB went from making threads like "bigger surprise, Knicks win a round or GSW doesn't win a championship" to destroying us in opening night to absolute silence on the Knicks now.

I think mentioning the team as a fan there is pretty much a 50/50 chance on an automatic ban. It's just not worth the risk and better off avoiding the board altogether.

I couldn't even post in game topic because I was so focused on the game. That was something special

You ain't lying. Tonight a few people actually mentioned the game, but one night we were on national TV and we got the win and there was not one word about the Knicks at all except from one Knicks fan in the thread.

Its really sad how they completely go radio silent when we do well, but are all ready to sh*t on us when we do bad.

I predicted that this would be a playoff atmosphere type game. Charlotte brought the goods tonight. It looked like he had nerves early on. He rushed quite a few shots and there were a couple of possessions that he should have looked to pass the ball because he was doubled.

His shooting has been ass and his defense was awful tonight. Got torched by Bellineli and he keeps throwing up bricks. He gets so many open looks and momentum changing shots that he just keeps bricking. We need this guy to hit those shots when we look to take the life out of the other team but his bricks usually do the opposite and bring life back to the other team.

What can we get for a Lee + Lance Thomas or Joakim Noah package? Lol

I think we should look into this? He can shoot run and play defense. I don't know his contract situation though?

I dunno what's up with the Kings. Isn't Dave Joerger supposed to be a good coach? I don't understand how a head coach hasn't talked to a player on the team since preseason. That's some cold sh*t right there.

But Thomas + Noah for Casspi + Whatever to make the money work, sure.

After the WAS debacle, so many of the negative posts were screaming 5-11

3 W's in a row since. Tanks being put back in the garage. Burned jerseys being repaired. Elephant hunters becoming elephant lovers.

And that's with an 8-7 record. If this team ever goes 5 games over .500 the positivity will be unbearable

Noah has negative value leaguewide right now given his contract. Him playing with the starting lineup will likely never not be awkward. He still has his tenacity but little corresponding skill--except for the nice pass here or there. Hornacek knows this but he also knows he can't bury the dude. Here's to hoping we find a good role for noah.

**** them and **** the bitchy mods. There are some cool ones but you can see those who are so tied to their team doing well and/or being right that they don't do what they're supposed to

Or perhaps Noah is still rounding into form. He was a major contributor in our wins versus Memphis and Chicago, HE certainly dId more than "the nice pass here or there." I think he's got plenty of game left and has the the luxury of 2 quality backups to take the pressure off.
