I guess you completely ignored his defensive coaching ability? Up until the Atlanta game we were giving up the most points in the league? Now we're down to 27th? I mean defense is half of the game and he was down right last for the first 12 games! How is that an A? C is correct for a 7-7 team. His substitutions, rotations and in game adjustments are an A but you can't ignore what he isn't doing right.
They can ignore it and they have. If the Knicks going on a 3-5 game losing streak? Some of this same posters saying A grade, will switch and say we should start the tank.
Cmon y'all. Think this team is supposed to be undefeated right now? They're trending up and the players are all bringing it defensively right now.
There's also a million moving parts on this squad. New people, new schemes, distractions since training camp, rookies in the rotation, etc.
They're .500 at thanksgiving with all these issues. That's an A, to me.
Christmas is when the NBA takes center stage in the sports world. They need to be a top 4 seed by then to keep the A rating from me.
And for the record, I've never once advocated for a tank job, ever. Take a look at the 99-04 Bulls to see where that road can easily take you.
