Moving on???? The guy was our big pick last year and he absolutely blows. I know he is young, but the guy stinks. Hilliard looked 10 times better tonight. There is reason for concern as he is a negative asset at this point.

He is not a negative asset because he's barely making any money. He has disappointed sure but worst case he's third string guy that we don't pick up his 4th year option. Likely, we will pick it up no matter what because the cap has exploded so much every player on a rookie contract, whether they are in the rotation or not, usually has value just because there contract is so relatively cheap.

Players need to know that in ALL circumstances you are gonna enforce team rules, regardless of if you're thin, regardless of opponent, regardless of how they might feel

I doubt we ever find out the real reason, but I doubt it is in the "partying too hard" category because stuff like that DOES leak out since he is likely to be at a public place like a club, etc. So I agree with others that it is probably a missed meeting. He could have also said something really stupid to SVG out of frustration in front of the team. Regardless, I'm sure Johnson now knows who is boss and this incident will pass, but not his playing time predicament.

Morris was a great pickup for us and there just isn't a lot of PT available for Johnson. And he is out of position at SG, and he's never been a shooter anyway. But he's a crazy athlete and on a cheap contract so I'm sure we keep him and hope he develops.

I can't say it doesn't concern me, but I'm not going to borrow trouble over a one game suspension. Sometimes it happens over something as ominous as forgetting to set your alarm. Might be a problem, might not. I guess we'll see. There's no denying SJ appears to be a hardheaded character. Given the way last night's game was called, SJ's physical defense would probably have gotten him fouled out in short order anyway.
