You know they need guards - any guard at all tbh

I think they keep him just for his long bombs

Joel/Okafor
Saric/Okafor/Simmons
Simmons/Saric/Covington
Rookie 2017/Nik
Rookie 2017/Sergio/TJ

Full of potential, trust the process, wait until Joel is fully unleashed!

There's the small matter of what they do with Noel though

The 76ers will have Korkmaz coming over eventually for shooting guard and Luwawu is already on the team. If they decide to start getting the latter minutes I could see them moving Stauskas, although I don't particularly want the Pistons to go after him.

I'm rooting for Nik to succeed in the NBA (nice shooting this year), but his defense will make your eyes bleed. Not something SVG would put up with.

That blows. Probably played his last game as a Piston.

Yep, looks like Hilliard is going to have the big chance to be our backup SG of the future now. Even if Hilly performs just average for us, it'll make Bullock and even SJ expendable.

Yeah, the backup minute competition has softened for Hilliard and possibly Gbinije. Johnson has completely crapped the bed this season, so I expect SVG to give more opportunity to guys who might be able to put the basketball through the hoop.

really unfortunate for bullock as he was just given a chance to crack the 9-man rotation. if it's on the long end of recovery then he'll be back just before playoffs and i doubt he'll be a part of the rotation at that point.

all before he was set to be a free agent. he'll probably have to take a one year prove-it deal to rehab his market value.

Return to Detroit Pistons
