I'm surprised by this game. I thought losing to Detroit would be a small wake-up call that our energy and effort was dropping.

I have a few long-term questions for Doc:
What is Austin's role on this team?
Are we even trying to teach him how to shoot?
Why such a big contract for W3s if we don't give him minutes?
What is rebounding?

It isn't all doom-and-gloom. I have been loving Mo and Luc. Great value for money.

Im sure you guys have heard of an expression, 'too many cooks in the kitchen' or 'too many chiefs and not enough Indians'? thats our second unit ball handler situation. I don't think Jamal - Austin - Felton can co-exist and excel. the one to keep is Felton, but we all know what Doc's choices will be.
ehhhhh f it.

Why did Blake have a compression thing on his leg? Is it acting up?

What a joke of a game, didn't really do anything well

Since Nov 16th which was the game vs Memphis:

+1.4 NetRtg, 109.8 Ortg / 108.4 Drtg

6th worst defense in that span, so that's certainly not cutting it.

Even the starters haven't been that great if we look at 5 man lineups since Nov 16th.

+5.5 NetRtg, but compared to what they regularly do. This would be fine if it was a tough stretch in the schedule, but they haven't been playing any particularly tough teams.

They really have to pick it up, 4-3 in their last 7 games with the losses being to Memphis, Detroit and Indiana.

Well, it was fun while it lasted. The Dallas Thanksgiving curse is real and we are looking like our old selves.

I would have bet the house that we came out strong and got the win after laying that egg in Detroit. To not only fail to do that, but put in one of the worst performances in recent years, is actually heartbreaking. Sure, just one game, team is tired, bla bla. I call BS on all that.
It's about attitude above everything else, and we just aren't where we need to be. Maybe Cleveland can take a couple games off in a row. That's because they get that 1st seed no matter what and will always bring it in the playoffs. We, on the other hand, need the 2nd seed badly, so we can't afford crap like this.
Are they already thinking about the playoffs? Well, best of luck then. Let's just hope everyone will be at 100% and Jamal/Austin will magically be efficient on both ends, maybe then we'll get to the long awaited finals.

This team, man.

only thing that made this palatable was my raiders coming back to win it in the 4th. this clipper team is turning into the usual 3rd seed and a second round exit caliber squad. they sure fooled me in the first two weeks.
ehhhhh f it.
