I think it's important not to block the opinions of people who disagree with you.

We live in a very isolated system - hearing, seeing & reading things outside your bubble is a good thing

I was talking in terms of those that provide nothing to the discussions on this board..
I have no problem with differing opinions and would never block a person because they had a different opinion than mine.

We have a poster who, during our horrible drought, always seemed to be on the GB hyping up how great the Pistons were. Now that we are actually on the upswing and a playoff team, all he can do is talk about how horrible the team is. To me, that is a good reminder that our opinions of the team are not always (or never) constructed in an objective reality. They are colored by our current living situation, various personality ticks that cause you to either identify with or reject a specific group of players, how you were raised, the weather. Every aspect of your life provides the context and thus the filter through which you see the team. So when all these different people gaze upon the same object and see completely different things, it doesn't say much about the object they are looking at so much as it does about their own filters.

We have a diverse array of posters with different intensity levels of fandom, different personalities, geographical locales, sports philosophies, etc. While occasionally my gag reflex may be triggered by posts I deem as illogical, understanding where different people come from is an important skill to have - especially in our current political climate.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

A good number of our games this year have been unwatchable. That's just what I know. This team (at times) seems like they don't care. Once again, maybe you see something different. Unless Reggie looks like an all-star, good shot we're this year's Bucks. We are also shooting horrible. That's hard basketball to watch. Just hoping for signs of improvement. We looked great against the Clippers, but that was also at home. 1-8 on the road is not going to get us anywhere. Going into this season, I felt confident with at least an 8th seed. So did most of you, that's going to be tougher than I thought. I honestly thought we'd challenge for 4th or 5th. That's not being delusional, that was our trajectory. Unless Reggie is the clear thing that holds us all together, that's not happening with this group.

It might not be fun to watch but didn't everyone say they'd be ecstatic if we were .500 when RJ returned?

It's a giant leap from ecstatic to "**** this team"!

I realise people are frustrated but:

New starting PG

New 6th Man

New back up PG

All key pieces in a 9 or 10 man rotation. Obviously it was gonna take time to gel.

I find it amusing that people acknowledge it's gonna take time for us to adjust to RJs return but don't mention the time it would take to adjust to Ish, Beno or Jon Boy

I said I would be happy with just staying .500 til Reggie gets back but I'm seeing a reoccurring problem here now. This team even with Reggie last year settled a lot for mediocre. They would play well against good teams and just roll over against bad ones.

What we are seeing might not just be a Reggie problem but a motor problem. It very well could just start with Drummond and trickle down cause when he takes nights off like he continues to do we cant win.
