You don't count game day as an off day because they aren't off, so it's actually 4 days.

I'm kinda wondering if the bench will pick it up now that there are more home games coming up. Role players tend to play better at home, right?

Not an easy win by any means the way our bench is playing. Lakers have guys that can light it up. Lou Williams, Nick Young and a lot of young guys that can get hot. Mirotic and Portis need to show why they are out there. Especially Mirotic, he needs to realize he's almost 7 feet tall and take it to guys that are a half of foot shorter than him guarding him like he did two seasons ago.

No russell, maybe no julius. Nick Young is back tonight vs the hawks. No word on julius status yet. Should win. Hope they come out hard after such a long break

I like the team having 5 days off. More rest for Butler who has put the team on his back during the circus trip(Wade to, for age reasons), and maybe the return of Dougie?

Also, Bulls ranked 7th on offense and defense as of today. That Philly game pushed them up like 5 spots on defense.

That we can still move that much on one game tells us our ranks are still going to need a moderately larger sample before we can confidently say much of what this team is.

I just want to see the team back healthy, though must admit I think some have made too much of MCW's absence.

3rd in the east, if we can finish right where we are now with a 1st rd meeting with Charlotte whom wade burned last season, a 2nd rd date with toronto who we have seemed to own the past couple of years , and with nothing to lose everything to gain, a ecf meeting with the cavs

I'm sure things change before seasons end, but man I would love to end where it's at now.

Yeah, I agree.

I personally think missing Doug has been a big issue for the bench. He really opened things up for everyone with his spacing he provided, and he was offense off the bench in general.

Hopefully he'll be back soon.

I think it's combination of missing both MCW and Doug for both offense and defense (where we struggled on both sides off the bench) and since our bench is very inconsistent with young guys, 2 of the better players playing could have been huge in a CLOSE game.

It is what it is I guess. There is no Bulls season without multiple injuries (I rather it be MCW and Doug than Butler or Wade).

As for this game, just don't let Young and Lou Williams go off and we win this game easily. Hopefully guys are not looking ahead to the matchup vs Cavs and ignore this game.

This is a huge trap game. Lakers are dangerous. Plenty of off time for us.

Cavs game looming.

We outlasted them in LA on a B2B without Wade, I would hope we can handle them at home, rested, with him.
